episode Indigenous Representation in BIPOC with Cedar Schaeffer cover

Indigenous Representation in BIPOC with Cedar Schaeffer

In today's episode, Cedar Schaeffer will be speaking on his experiences as an indigenous student at UCI who is also involved with the university’s cultural organizations. In his time at UCI, he has worked to undo the lack of Native representation on campus through involvement with the Cross Cultural Center and the American Indian Student Association. It is through these organizations that he hopes to decolonize higher education and address the social injustices experienced by Native peoples. Cedar is planning to pursue a career in public health and has spent his first year of university fostering relationships with various Native-serving organizations and campus-based centers that will ultimately help recenter equity in higher education. A fun fact about Cedar is that he is a Cali. Native through-and-through, with heritage from the Pala Band of Mission Indians of southern California and the Round Valley Indian Tribes of northern California.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
