Les mer rebuilding

My cringe series on getting up and moving on from Trauma! ;) The first 2 episodes are mostly me sharing my own experiences. The 3rd one is about the useful resources that have helped me personally. The 4th is about my "insights" and the 5th is kind of a "now that we're moving on, where to?" I hope this helps somebody. Sincerely, Random Stranger on the Internet :D [trynna make it creepy here... :D]

episode Outro cover

Outro

If these past few years have taught me anything, it’s that these things happen far too much to far too many people. They change the course of our lives, they become the defining moments of our lives.  I’ve learned there are far too many people out there. Way too many. And so many feel guilty or responsible. They feel like they were at fault, even if they were only a child.  We hide and run, we struggle to find a way and even die trying to pave our own. All because of the actions of someone else. Someone who doesn’t even try to hide. Or have any shame, who think they have every right and who think they can threaten you when they’re the only people responsible for any kind of crime.  No remorse, no regret. Just entitlement. There are so many people out there who seem to walk every day in the shadow of a monster’s unabashed deeds. And it’s not uncommon to hear stories of bad shit happening every day. But we rarely come across conversations discussing the solutions for all of this, even when we may try to kickstart these conversations ourselves. Instead, we tell ourselves we aren’t capable and let some random strangers worry about that.  I hope to one day do much more about shit like this, but for now: This is what I can do.

episode redefining cover

redefining

This whole "podcast", isn't something I've written and rewritten and edited a bunch of times. It's just something that I went with. Like I said in the audio right there, I'm just doing whatever I can, however I can. I'm letting go of perfectionism, I'm letting go of compulsions and just willingly relinquishing a lot of that "control" stuff. I recorded things kind of in a one-go fashion, on my phone. Edited on Audacity, and one of them's even from DaVinci Resolve. I liked it. And I just wrote a bunch of things that came to mind for these description boxes. Uploaded and published. Even the content itself - I tried to keep it simple - until I started talking of course. But I really did do it all in the hopes of it helping somebody. And it's been a great experience for me as well. Not just the learning to use Audacity part or the learning to make a podcast part, but writing the whole thing, narrating it and this whole process - it's been helpful to me in helping me let go. And closing a chapter. Yet again, now: https://speak-your-mind.pages.dev/

episode resilient or tenacious? cover

resilient or tenacious?

As we make our way through life, we come across a lot of decision-making. The more we venture through our minds or especially if we take the philosophical route - we tend to get stuck a lot more. But there comes a point where you gotta get out of your head and just do things. What I've written here might not make any sense from an external view point with reference to the episode itself, but it's a huge dilemma that just got solved for me by going a bit easier on myself. I don't know if everybody has principles they live their life by, but I'm somebody who couldn't betray myself on things like that. I still haven't changed, it's just that maybe my mind's been callussed a bit in some specific ways. Again, full-length script here: https://speak-your-mind.pages.dev/

episode does this help? cover

does this help?

* Each of us is different and our experiences unique. The way we perceive and receive these experiences, even more so. There's no panacea. * Some helpful/useful resources that I personally have used and found helpful. If you don't listen to any other, just listen to this one. This is where I've compressed all the info into. None of this stuff is sponsored. I am a literal random stranger on the internet who just wants to get some information out in the hopes that it helps SOMEBODY at least. And please know that all the resources, whatever I've talked about - it all takes work. A lot of work. Especially some of the things that really work, really well. They take up a LOT of time too. But you can't rush through it, the more you take your time with it, and you do it right - the more you get out of it. P.S. I'm not trying to be dramatic, I was just tired when I started recording :) Full-length transcripts available here: https://speak-your-mind.pages.dev/ Hope this helps, Random Stranger on the Internet :D

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
