Ep 13: The Wisdom Of Trauma with Dylan Marc Tayler Smiler

Dylan speaks on his unstable upbringing within an environment of drugs and alcohol. He feels like he picked up alot of negative traits being raised by addicts and alcholics. He touches on how he was effected, his destructive belief systems and behaviours including mistreating animals, running away from home, crime and drugs. Dylan struggled with alcohol, drugs and gambling for 24 years, he is now 2 years clean and sober. He shares his journey of getting clean, coming to understand his behaviours and learning to forgive himself. Instead of supressing his negaitive emotions, now he meditates daily and found a way to express his emotion through music. His life experiences have become tools to better understand himself, and through that understanding he makes better decisions and leads a happier life. Dylan only hopes through sharing so vulnerably others may be inspired to open up as well, as this has been a huge part of his healing.
