Episode 120 - 1st (ish) War of Armageddon - The Battle for Armageddon

On today’s cast we jump into the events of the 1st war of Armageddon (sort of). We open with a dive into what Armageddon really is and where it actually came from (damn it ad-mech). Then we talk about the Grey Knights, doing a bit deeper dive into them and their function in the imperium. Then we get to the warp and Angron doing a YOLO into the galaxy. After all that we get to the meat and potatoes of the conflict, the planetary guard, the Space Wolves, and now the Grey Knights. Then onto the final battle itself and the breaking of the black blade! We then close out on the Inquisition’s decision post battle and how that is not going to go over well in part 2 of our cast. Episode 119 - Demetrian Titus - lead up to, events of, and post of Space Marine 2.

Episode 117 - Salamanders - Key characters and successor chapters.

On Today’s cast we close out our coverage of the Salamanders, with a focus on the Salamanders post Vulkan. So we open before Vulkan is gone with Cassian Vaughn and the Disciples of the Flame. Then we move over to Vulkan He’Stan and the origins of the forgefather. After that we have some fun with Adrax, the grumpiest of the Salamanders. Then we jump into a bunch of the events of the Salamanders, mostly them getting pulled into massive conflicts where they take heavy losses but save the day. The attack by Perigno, the ork invasion of the Osiris sector, purging of the genestealer cult on Ymgarl, defeating Soulsmelter, and of course the 2nd and 3rd wars of Armageddon. Episode 116 - The Salamanders, Vulkan takes one to the dome, and then another, and then some more.... fine Vulkan just dies a lot

On today’s cast we continue our coverage of the Salamanders with a dive into Vulkan coming to lead his legion. With his initial efforts to uplift their technology and recruitment pool by building up nocturn, then his saving of the legion from certain destruction at the hands of the orks. And then to make Brad sad we spend a bunch of time on Vulkan being a A-hole. We then jump to Vulkan and the Salamanders all dying it Isstvan 5, well not Vulkan because he is a Highlander. But then Vulkan is captured by Konrad, which is not ideal We then close with Vulkan returning to Terra just in time to assist the Emperor in his hour of need.
