49. Four Steps to Client Attraction with Hailey Rowe

Text the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2364851/open_sms] Without sales, you don’t have a business. So if “selling” makes you cringe or “getting visible” feels like shouting into the void, this episode is your permission slip to do things differently—and more effectively. I’m joined by marketing and sales strategist Hailey Rowe, who breaks down her 4 steps to client attraction in a way that’s approachable, non-icky, and actually works. Whether you’re a new coach, an established pro who hates posting, or someone tired of throwing content into the social media abyss, this conversation gives you practical ways to get visible, build real relationships, and confidently invite people to work with you—without feeling like a used car salesperson. We also talk about what’s changing in sales (hint: touchpoints are multiplying), why your niche probably isn’t the problem, and how to avoid pivoting every time someone doesn’t respond to your content. If your ideal clients are lurking (but not liking), this one’s for you. What We Cover: * Hailey’s simple 4-step framework to attract clients * How to show up online without feeling sleazy or salesy * Why your content might not be landing (hint: it’s probably the questions you’re asking) * How to build trust faster (especially when your audience is silent) * Whether social media still matters these days—and how to shift from passive to proactive Thrive in 5: Hailey’s Client Attraction Checklist 1. Choose your connection method – What visibility channel plays to your strengths? (Local workshops, podcasts, LinkedIn, etc.) 2. Craft your intentional question – Are you reaching out to collab partners or potential clients? Choose one smart question that opens the door. 3. Create a value-packed pre-offer – Give people a quick win and a taste of what it’s like to work with you (and grow your email list at the same time). 4. Design a smooth transition to your offer – How will you follow up after the freebie? A short email sequence, a DM invite, or a discovery call? 5. Identify your sales mindset block – What do you think is standing between you and your next client? Name it so you can shift it. 🔗 Resources & Links: Grab Hailey’s free Client Attraction Checklist (the one her client used to get 500 new leads + 15 clients!) at haileyrowe.com/client-attraction [https://haileyrowe.kartra.com/page/client-attraction] Follow Hailey on Instagram: @hailey_rowe [https://www.instagram.com/hailey_rowe/] Listen to her podcast: Health Coach Nation Loved this episode? episode 48. Here's How Much I Made During Black Friday cover

48. Here's How Much I Made During Black Friday

Text the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2364851/open_sms] My first Black Friday sale? Let’s just say it was... a learning experience. In this second-to-last episode of the year, I’m giving you the full rundown—what I offered, what flopped, what I thought would hit but didn’t, and what I’ll do differently next time. I’m sharing real numbers, open rates, click rates, unsubscribes, and the strategy behind it all (yes, even the parts that didn’t work). More importantly, I’m talking about how I’m using all of that data to plan for 2026—and how you can do the same. Key Takeaways: * What actually happened during my Black Friday Flash Sale (numbers, click rates, conversion rates… all of it) * Why people not clicking isn’t always a sign you did something wrong * How I’m rethinking what’s worth my energy in 2026 (and what’s not) * Why I’m pressing pause on this podcast—for now * What is working in my business and what I’m doubling down on in 2026 Thrive in 5: My End-of-Year Refocus Checklist 1. Reflect on what actually worked this year (not just what looked good on paper or what other people say works) 2. Let go of the stuff that’s not giving you a return—money OR energy 3. Pay attention to what people are actually asking for (not just what you feel like selling) 4. Make peace with unsubscribes—they’re just people who aren’t your people 5. Create a real plan for the new year, not a list of things you “should” do Hit the ground running in 2026 Your business doesn’t need another cute planner or abandoned Asana board. It needs a clear, simple system to help you make decisions, prioritize what matters, and finally stop spinning your wheels on busywork. That’s exactly why I created the Plan Like a CEO Playbook [https://www.marcirossi.com/playbook]. It’s the same system I use to map out my year, figure out what’s worth my energy, and grow my business without trying to do “all the things.” Inside, you’ll get: * My plug-and-play visual planning tool * Trainings to help you think and act like a CEO * Tools like the Revenue Roadmap and Power Moves checklist so you can focus on what actually grows your business * And my AI planning assistant (aka the Goal Guru) to help you break down big goals into clear, actionable steps 👉 Grab yours now [https://www.marcirossi.com/playbook] Because winging it is not a strategy. Want to stay in the loop? This is the next-to-last episode of the year, and I honestly don’t know what the podcast is going to look like in 2026 (if it’s even coming back!) In the meantime, if you want to stay connected, head to marcirossi.com [https://marcirossi.com] and join my email list. That’s where the good stuff lives. And if you do love the podcast and want more of it, tell me. Seriously. I’m all ears. Loved this episode? Don’t miss out on more practical, no-nonsense advice to level up your life and business. episode 47. The Trust Factor: Turn Curious Leads Into Confident Coaching Clients cover

47. The Trust Factor: Turn Curious Leads Into Confident Coaching Clients

Text the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2364851/open_sms] Today, we’re digging into what really makes someone feel safe saying yes to coaching with you—before they ever book a call or read your proposal. If you’ve ever had someone say, “This sounds great, I’ll think about it…” and then disappear, this one’s for you.  I break down why buying coaching feels risky, what a “trust recession” actually looks like in your business, and how to design your touchpoints so they send a clear message: it’s safe to take the next step.  Instead of obsessing over your pitch or dropping your prices, you’ll learn how to reduce perceived risk and make it easier for the right people to move from curious lead to confident coaching client. What You’ll Learn in This Episode * Why coaching feels risky to buyers * The nervous system side of buying decisions * The 3 ways every touchpoint sends a trust signal * The four biggest trust leaks in most coaching businesses * How to share the risk so saying yes feels reasonable * Building a Trust Ladder in your business   Thrive in 5: Choose-Your-Own Trust Builder For this week’s Thrive in 5, pick one of these actions to start with—and add more as you have time.  1. Clean up one key touchpoint Choose something like your LinkedIn headline, website hero section, or email signature. Make it clear who you help, what you help them with, and what the next step is if someone’s interested. 2. Choose one consistent nurture channel A simple monthly email, recurring check-ins with warm leads, or showing up regularly on the platform where your people actually are. Pick one you can stick with. 3. Add or upgrade one client story Turn a specific situation you’ve helped with into a short testimonial or mini case study that shows what was going on, what changed, and what’s better now. 4. Decide on one risk reducer This might be a clearer cancellation policy, a smaller starter package, or a low-cost first session so people can experience your coaching before committing longer term. 5. Sketch your Trust Ladder Jot down your “small yeses” (content, lead magnet, workshop, discovery call) and your “bigger yeses” (intensives, short packages, ongoing coaching). If there’s a big jump, add one step in between. To make this easier, I created the Trust Builder Prompt Pack—a short set of prompts you can plug into ChatGPT to:  * Look at your touchpoints through a trust lens * Spot where you’re probably leaking trust right now * Brainstorm small, doable fixes that align with you and your clients You can grab it here: Trust Builder Prompt Pack [https://subscribepage.io/trustbuilders] Tune in, pick one trust tweak to implement this week, and start turning more of your curious leads into confident coaching clients. episode 46. 26 Doctors, 0 Answers: How Lisa Roers Took Her Health Back cover

46. 26 Doctors, 0 Answers: How Lisa Roers Took Her Health Back

Text the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2364851/open_sms] What would you do if you woke up one morning and couldn’t walk—and more than two dozen doctors still couldn’t tell you why? That’s exactly what happened to today’s guest, Lisa Roers. What started as pain in her neck turned into full-body inflammation, leg ulcers, and a two-year journey through 26 doctors—including Mayo Clinic—with no real answers. Instead of giving up, Lisa took her healing into her own hands and slowly rebuilt her health from the inside out. In this episode, we talk about how she did it, what it really means to advocate for your own body, and why your genes don’t have the final word on your health. What you’ll learn in this episode: * The subtle warning signs Lisa ignored for years (and how to start actually listening to your body) * What it's like to see 26 doctors and no one know what's wrong * How epigenetics challenges the whole “it runs in my family” narrative * Why not having a label became one of the most freeing parts of her healing * What true freedom looks like around those "I could never give that up” habits Thrive in 5: Small Shifts for Better Health 1. Ditch the seed oils Go through your pantry and look for canola, vegetable, soybean, cottonseed, grapeseed, rapeseed, and palm oils. Swap them for olive oil, avocado oil, or coconut oil.  2. Move like your health depends on it (because it does) Set a timer and get up every hour to walk, stretch, or move around the house. Think “river,” not “swamp”—movement helps your body move toxins out. 3. Take a break from sugar and flour Try one week without sugar and flour and notice what changes—your cravings, your mood, your energy. 4. Build in quiet margin Carve out 5–10 minutes a day with no phone, no music, no input. Just sit, breathe, and let your mind have some space. Often the next right step becomes clearer when your brain isn’t drowning in noise. 5. Practice gratitude like it’s medicine Especially if you’re in a hard season, name a few things you’re grateful for—up to and including the solution you can’t see yet. That mindset shift literally changes what’s happening in your body at a cellular level. Connect with Lisa Want to go deeper with Lisa, her story, or her work? episode 45. The Right Way to Start and Grow a Podcast with Alesia Galati cover

45. The Right Way to Start and Grow a Podcast with Alesia Galati

Text the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2364851/open_sms] Thinking about launching a podcast—or wondering why yours isn’t moving the needle? In this episode, podcast strategist Alesia Galati breaks down what it takes to start and sustain a show that supports your business. We get into when not to launch, how to pick a format that converts, smart marketing moves that still work in 2026, and the unsexy backend that keeps you consistent without losing your mind. What you’ll learn * Why a podcast won’t fix a sales problem—and what to do first instead * How to choose the right goal (audience growth vs. listeners-to-leads) and align your content to it * What kinds of episodes are best for conversion * The #1 growth lever most hosts ignore * A realistic picture of the workload and how to make it sustainable Key takeaways * Don’t launch to “get clients” if you’re not selling yet. Validate your offer and get revenue flowing first; use a podcast to scale trust, not create it from zero. * Pick a clear goal and let it drive the format. If you want leads, prioritize solos. If you want reach, collaborate—but be strategic. * Guesting > posting. Being on other podcasts puts you in front of proven listeners and converts faster than pushing links on social. * Market where listeners already are. Collaborations, IG carousels with real takeaways, email your list, and give guests copy/assets so they actually share. * Quality matters—especially for new listeners. Clean audio, a strong hook, and SEO-friendly titles/descriptions make you discoverable and worth staying for. Thrive in 5 1. Set the goal: Growth or leads? Write it down and gut-check your next 3 episode ideas against it. 2. Map 10 solos: List ten problems your best-fit client actually has. Those are your first ten episodes. 3. Book 3 guest spots: Pitch three aligned shows this week (need help writing and sending pitches? Check out my Podcast Pitch Power Pack [https://www.marcirossi.com/podcastpitch]_ 4. Choose a cadence you can keep: Consistency beats ambition. 5. Prep the pipeline: Create a simple checklist for title, description, blog post, email, social, and guest assets so nothing slips.
