Tonya is joined by Lovejoy ISD Superintendent Katie Kordel. The Walker Group is a proud sponsor of various programs within The Lovejoy ISD and is very passionate about education. Katie joined Lovejoy ISD following two decades as a leader in education in North Texas. Most recently, Mrs. Kordel served as the Chief Innovation and Strategic Initiatives Officer for Allen ISD, with prior years spent in various roles for Frisco ISD including Middle School Principal, Director of Secondary Instruction, Chief Academic Officer, and Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Kordel began her career as a biology teacher in 1999. Mrs. Kordel joined Lovejoy ISD following two decades as a leader in education in North Texas.
