6 episodesIt’s been a couple weeks but the show is back. Lots of drunk rambling in this episode, from MLB to NFL, huge parlay hit, and the usual Steelers vs Eagles spat. We discuss how the Covid-19 era of sports may have ushered in great changes for sports going forward. College football this weekend was an absolute train wreck; special launch yourselves into the sun: Florida Gators and Temple Owls. Apologies for the tangents and any incoherent thoughts. Regardless of the extracurricular shit you hear at the end of this episode, get out and vote.
The boys crush some drinks & run through everything that's happened since our last episode (we know -- it's been a long ass time), and highlight some of our worst picks of late since sports have returned. Ryan tells an interesting story about how his relationship with Bovada deteriorated last summer, while Tony is ready to roll with some bonus action in the episode! Lastly, the Beaten Bad crew welcomes our new 3rd host, Mr. Charlie Burrows, a.k.a. "The King of Online Blackjack" to add another gambler's stories to the program going forward. Give it a listen & cheers!
Ryan and Tony recap the month of April and all of the action that's taken place (over many many drinks). Friend of the pod Luke Pirrotta is in the house to say hello, Ryan gets emotional discussing hitting his Tiger bet at The Masters, Tony and Ryan break down some NBA leans and discuss their best and worst picks of April. Finally, the boys give a preview of the Kentucky Derby -- they know nothing about horse racing. Enjoy! Cheers!
Ryan and Tony discuss the results of the first 2 rounds of the NCAA Tournament and how they were "beaten bad" numerous times. The boys also have a detailed discussion about the return of Major League Baseball (Mr. Black is hot to start the year!!) and their wagering experiences with MLB. The episode closes with a return to KBO and our beloved Doosan Bears. Cheers!
The boys are back to preview the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Ryan and Tony go in depth throughout the entire bracket before the first round of the tournament gets underway (minus some play-in games) to see what they're going to bet and what you should probably avoid betting based off of their picks. Finally, the boys give a preview of the upcoming Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) season and explain their love for the Doosan Bears. Give it a listen! Cheers!
