On July 22, 2001, 28-year-old Niqui McCown went to do laundry in Richmond, Indiana, just weeks before her wedding day. After finishing her laundry, she planned to go home and work on wedding invitations, but she never made it back. The next morning, her fiancé reported her missing. For months there was no trace of her, until November, when her SUV was found abandoned in Dayton, Ohio, with her clean laundry still folded inside. But Niqui was nowhere to be found. More than twenty years later, Niqui’s disappearance remains unsolved. Her family is still searching, holding onto hope that one day they will finally learn the truth and bring her home. On the morning of May 13, 2011, 6-year-old Timmothy Pitzen was seen checking out of the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells with his mother, Amy. But he was never seen with her again. The next day, Amy was found dead in a motel in Rockford, Illinois. She left behind notes saying Tim was safe and would be cared for, but that no one would ever find him. Fourteen years later, Tim’s whereabouts remain unknown, and his family is still searching, hoping to bring him home. 6-year-old Timmothy Pitzen was last seen on the morning of May 13, 2011, checking out of the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells with his mother, Amy. Later that afternoon, Amy made phone calls to her family, and Tim spoke to his uncle. That was the last time anyone confirmed he was with her. The next day, Amy was found dead in a motel in Rockford, Illinois. In her final notes, she said Tim was safe and would be cared for, but that no one would ever find him. To this day, Tim has never been located. At the time he disappeared, he was 6 years old, 4-foot-2, about 70 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing green or blue shorts, a brown t-shirt, white socks, and carrying a Spider-Man backpack. On October 2, 1993, 37-year-old Dana MacKay and 49-year-old Mary Huffman were found murdered inside their Las Vegas home. The couple had been shot at close range, likely just after returning home from grocery shopping. The only thing missing from the house was a manila folder filled with important documents. The Vegas community was shocked by the double homicide. The couple was well-known around town: Dana was America’s first Elvis impersonator, and Mary had once been crowned Mrs. Nevada. It was hard to believe they’d been murdered in their home, known as Mini Graceland. But despite the initial attention their case received, it quickly went cold. More than thirty years later, their murders are still unsolved and the question remains: who killed Dana and Mary? 37-year-old Dana MacKay and 49-year-old Mary Huffman were found murdered inside their Las Vegas home, known as Mini Graceland, on October 2, 1993. They had been shot several times at close range, likely just after returning home from grocery shopping on September 30. While one room appeared ransacked, cash and jewelry were left behind. On the night of August 28, 2013, 19-year-old college sophomore Bryce Laspisa left his apartment near Sacramento, California, and began driving south toward his parents’ home in Orange County. But he never made it there. In the early morning hours of August 30, Bryce’s SUV was found wrecked at the bottom of a ravine near Castaic Lake. His wallet, duffel bag, laptop, and phone were all recovered. But Bryce himself was gone. Despite massive searches, no trace of him has ever been found. It’s been twelve years since Bryce vanished, and his disappearance remains one of California’s most haunting mysteries. 19-year-old Bryce Laspisa was last heard from at 2:08 a.m. on August 30, 2013, when he told his mother he was too tired to drive and planned to sleep in his car. At 5:30 a.m., his Toyota Highlander was found at the bottom of a ravine near Castaic Lake. Tracking dogs followed his scent across the dam and toward a nearby truck stop. But no trace of Bryce was ever found. When he disappeared, Bryce was 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a Taurus bull head with a Roman numeral on his left shoulder. He was last seen wearing white cargo shorts, a blue and white checkered shirt, and white and red Nike shoes. On the night of August 30, 2015, 62 year old Denise Robert parked her car at Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester, New Hampshire, for her regular Sunday night walk through the North End neighborhood. Just fifteen minutes later, she was found lying just off the road half a mile away, dead from a single gunshot wound. Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a firecracker, then saw a red or rust-colored pickup truck speeding away from the scene. Ten years later, her case is still unsolved and the question remains: who killed Denise Robert? 62 year old Denise Robert was shot and killed on the night of August 30, 2015, while walking through the North End of Manchester, New Hampshire. Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a firecracker before seeing a red or rust-colored pickup truck speed away from the area. Denise was found just off the road, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head. No shell casing or bullet was ever recovered, and the driver of the truck has never been identified.
