033 | The One Key That Will Change Your Life

I really enjoyed recording this episode. I am experiencing the culmination of my life lessons adding up and finally leading to insight. I’ve been sitting with a question from a Substack from since March: “Living online kills my feminine soul and my vibrant health. It could be the age difference because each generation is born better able to adapt; but all the articles about the feminine soul don’t apply to me as i struggle to find a way to support myself and still be ME. There is only the computer now, pressure to put out “content” and “offers”, and endless tech i don’t understand and pay tech people dearly to set up and patrol. WHAT words of wisdom can you offer?” My first instinct was to list out all the woo woo, witchy ways to ground ourselves and minimize the electro-magnetic waves in our homes and bio-hack our nervous systems and essential oils and crystals and ALL THE THINGS. Then I realized, one truth is at the bottom. Take everything away and what are you left with: yourself. And isn’t it just too easy to say that all we have to do is listen to ourselves? But it’s true. 030 | The letter I won't send to my mom

My mom read one of the articles I wrote for our local city magazine and confronted me about the content because I used a bunch of astrology and pagan terms she's never heard of and never mentioned Jesus or God once. I cried after I got off the phone with her. I cried because I felt guilt that I didn't have this conversation with her sooner. Her biggest fear is that her grandson (my son) is going to hell because he doesn't have a relationship with Jesus and doesn't know Jesus as his savior. I was not at peace after the phone call. And I hope she is open to more conversation on the subject. This episode is what I might have said to my mother, if I had sent a letter. Recorded Friday, March 27 while in the bath tub, sipping rum.
