She is also a disability advocate who uses instagram and tiktok to bring awareness of the disability as well as various other topics such as body positivity and skincare. Her goals are to one day become a motivational speaker and podcaster. She tells me that sometimes she finds it hard to balance daily life and her disability but that doesn't stop her from remaining positive and optimistic and accomplishing all her goals. She credits her parents as well as her significant other for keeping her grounded and encouraging her to accomplish her dreams. She is truly amazing. On this episode of the Cerebral Palsy and Fitness Podcast I have Katie Wheeler, an aspiring motivational speaker and disability advocate who is devoted to spreading her message of overcoming Cerebral Palsy. Although she uses a wheelchair and her mobility is limited she remains highly positive the she will achieve her goals in becoming a successful speaker and a Public Relations and marketing specialist. Sam and Ryan from Extreme Motus!

In this episode of the Cerebral Palsy and Fitness Podcast, I interview Sam and Ryan from Extreme Motus a company that designs wheelchairs for off-road use based in Utah. Sam who has Cerebral Palsy along with his good friend Ryan have captured the hearts of thousands on tiktok through these really unique videos showcasing Sam in in variety of unique places where he is shown off-roading in his chair, if anything can put a smile on your face it's him! Ryan explains that the goal for the chair is to create something that can be used in places where regular chairs seemingly can't go. What an experience getting to interview 8x Paralympic national champion and ParaPen bronze and silver medalist Team USA track runner Marshall Zackery. He talks about what it was like growing up with CP and visually impaired and how he discovered running after an encounter with his now mentor and coach while he was at a gym working out. This lead to them working together and a promise that Marshall fulfilled with his mom alongside his coach to make the Olympics and in 2017, he did just that!
