The verses remind us that all provision comes from Allah, who gives as He wills, yet the Hereafter is higher in value and lasting reward. Allah commands that we worship Him alone and treat our parents with kindness, humility, and mercy, especially in their old age. We are taught to speak gently to them and pray for them, recognising their sacrifices. Allah knows what is in our hearts and is Most Forgiving to those who return to Him with sincere intentions.

It gives good news to those who believe and do good deeds, and warns those who do not believe in the Hereafter of serious punishment. He further explains the nature of human haste, the signs of night and day, and how Allah has set everything with wisdom and order. The verses remind us that each person is responsible for their own actions, and everyone will see their deeds on the Day of Judgement. No one will carry the burden of another. These verses also remind us of past nations destroyed after Prophet Nuḥ (AS), showing that Allah is fully Aware and All-Seeing of everything His servants do.
