The Worthy Walk

Of all the sermons or Bible lessons I have ever given in some 50 years plus of ministry I would say this is one that has impacted my life personally the most. I have recently listen to it several times and jotted down many notes as to the impact of four Christ-like character qualities given to us in Ephesians chapter 4:1,2 that results in the life of Christ being made manifest in believer's lives. The worthy walk is not me living my life for Christ; the Worthy Walk is Christ living His life through me. I still have a very long ways to go as to dying to self that Christ might live As I have prayerfully pondered this sermon the last few weeks I have prayerfully thought of the words of this hymn: Not I, but Christ, be honored, loved, exalted; Not I, but Christ, be seen, be known, be heard; Not I, but Christ, in every look and action, Not I, but Christ, in every thought and word. Understanding Some Dynamics of Spiritual Warfare

This podcast begins with the hymn: Faith Is The Victory That Overcomes The World. After the hymn, Josh Dixon explains a real life example of a situation at his house that involved the powers of darkness (6 minutes) . Then Josh and I began to explore together some of the principles God gives us in His Word concerning overcoming sin and the powers of darkness. Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;  2Co 2:14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ 1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  1Jn 4:4  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Part Two   How To Live a Healthier life  (Body Soul and Spirit) Part Two begins with me explaining: THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR CONSCIENCE -- AS FAR AS OUR HEALTH     1Timothy_1:19  Holding faith, and a good (clear) conscience; which some having put away concerning FAITH have made shipwreck: We need to clear our conscience:   FOR FAITH SAKE    FOR OUR OWN SAKES    FOR OTHERS SAKE   FOR HEALTH SAKE Stephanie’s testimony of the powerful impact on her health in the clearing of her conscience. There are many other testimonies by both Charlie and Stephanie as to the years of their journey in learning what they are sharing and what ittook to apply it in their own lives. Charlie and Stephanie Crawford join me in this podcast. We have known each other since 1996. My wife Vicki and I have benefited greatly from the counsel we have received from them as to the challenges of our own health issues over the years. This is a two-part podcast with the total of one hour and fifty minutes worth of information – (from the Biblical, Medical and Practical points of view) There are many mentions of Bible Verses in the podcast. Proverbs 4:20-22 and Exodus 15:26   set the tone as to the Word of God being the foundational starting point as to the health of the body, soul and spirit.
