For episode 6, I virtually sit down with Darcie Alderwick, the boss lady behind Darcie Ellen Nutrition. It is fair to say this girl has definitely made iso her bitch, by taking the plunge and starting her own business venture. Darcie shares that she has always been a perfectionist and wasn't too sure if it was the right time to go off on her own. But as she explains, in order to continue to learn, develop and push your limits you need to step outside your comfort zone to achieve your goals. We chat about Darcie's own journey with exercise and eating and how she has created a healthy relationship with food that motivates her everyday to assist others in maximising their health in a positive and sustainable way. For episode 5, I sit down with the legends of Roar, Harry Knight and Corey Kassabis. Both entering the fitness industry, relatively at the same time with the same goals, they quickly identified a gap in the supplement market and what the flaws were of several products readily available to consumers at the time. We discuss what brought them together to begin their unique and compatible relationship and how the Roar baby was born. We chat about what it takes to have the motivation, determination and discipline to penetrate a market to create a high retention rate and what are the musts when it comes to creating and developing a business partnership. Throughout the past few years, they have built a very strong clientele with the F45 community and have increased their product range to meet their customer needs. We chat about Jackie’s own journey to finding her true passion and what it took to get where she is today. We chat about the often confusing and complicated world of fitness and nutrition and her goals to ensure that people maximise their full potential. And just like that we are on to Episode three – how bloody exciting! For this episode I ‘virtually’ sit down with one of the most beautiful human beings and most elegant Pilates instructor I have ever seen, Sharrman Maran. Sharrman found his love for Pilates only a mere two years ago, where he now teaches at two well renowned boutique studios in Melbourne and also works with corporate companies to bring Pilates to the office – focusing on enhancing employees physical and mental health. Oh, and did I mention he is also on track to becoming a Pilates teacher, to assist others in becoming qualified Pilates instructors. We discuss the importance of sleep and strategies Sharrman has successful implemented in his own routine to ensure he maximises his busy lifestyle. We also chat about the importance of tapping into your inner self during isolation and not being too hard on yourself during these uncertain times. He also provides a little insight into what you can expect from his Pilates classes and the importance of focusing on your health to ensure you make decisions now to enhance your long term physical and mental health.
