12 FolgenToday, we are going to have a throwback to 2019 when we interviewed Australian singer-songwriter Shannon Noll. This is a man who we think is very misunderstood in the media. Shannon has been in the media many times for angry outbursts and drinking but we don't want to focus on the negatives today. When we sat down with Shannon, we actually found out the truth behind these stories and get to know the real Shannon. This is an interview you will not find anywhere else. Today, we are going to have a throwback to 2017 when we interviewed Australian drag performer, reality TV show contestant and singer, Courtney Act. Not only was she on Australian Idol back in the day but she also won UK’s Big Brother and was on Australia’s Dancing with the Stars as a contestant and a guest judge. Something we love about Courtney is that she goes beyond labels. She’s simply sometimes a girl and sometimes a boy. This is a whole new generation. She is making it OK and acceptable and really showing everyone that we can fully be ourselves and chase our dreams no matter what, which suits this show so much. That is what we always promote too. So today, let's learn from the one and only Courtney Act. Go to the RaveItUpTV YouTube channel to check out the video of our interview. Even though we all have different opinions on COVID-19, the one thing we can all agree on is how much it has affected all of our lives, especially mental health wise. It has been a mental health rollercoaster. In this episode, our host Lauren Yeates thought it would be a good idea to talk about COVID again after this 2nd Sydney lockdown, but in a positive way! She talks about ways to improve your mental health during this time and what to do during this lockdown to bring joy back into your life again. Reach out if you need help. In this episode, Lauren shares with us her speech that she has been doing on her speaking circuit at schools around Sydney. She shares her story, and the stories of the guests she has interviewed, as well as open the eyes up to these students on the really cool jobs out there that they don’t realise they could do after graduating too. Today, we are going to have a throwback to 2016 when we interviewed Australian magician and illusionist Cosentino. This was at the time when Cosentino released his autobiography book called ‘Anything is Possible’. We talk about how long and hard he worked for before getting his big break on Australia’s Got Talent, and about how he never looks at comments online to avoid haters and to help his mental health. Such an inspiring and motivating interview! Go to the RaveItUpTV YouTube channel to check out the video of our interview from 2016.
