Draw Near

Speaker: Robert Lee Drawing Near to God Because of Jesus, we are no longer far from God—we’ve been brought near by His blood (Ephesians 2:13). When the temple veil was torn from top to bottom, it wasn’t just a moment in history—it was an invitation. What once separated humanity from God has been removed, opening the way back to intimacy with Him, like a return to the Garden. But while every believer is near to God, not everyone experiences that nearness the same way. The difference is faith—trusting God at His word and choosing to look to Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Faith doesn’t come from striving; it comes from hearing. As we listen to the words of Christ, read Scripture aloud, and confess truth with our mouths, our faith grows (Romans 10:17). Confession isn’t just for salvation—it’s central to a vibrant, ongoing relationship with God. When we declare who He is and what He’s done, grace is released to transform us. True worship engages our whole being—heart, soul, mind, and strength. Scripture invites us to express our faith outwardly: to sing, declare, lift our hands, and give thanks (Ephesians 5:19–20). There is power in what we speak; just as God creates through His word, our words shape our lives. Ultimately, the Christian life is about fixing our eyes on Jesus. Like the bronze serpent lifted in the wilderness, healing and life come when we simply look to Him in faith. Instead of judging ourselves by our own thoughts—which are often unreliable—we align with God’s truth and His thoughts toward us (Psalm 139). Our response is simple:Agree with God’s truth, repent of lies, confess faith out loud, and give thanks continually. This is how we draw near—by abiding in Him, listening to His voice, and living a life of faith-filled worship.

Portada del episodio Let Us Run

Let Us Run

Speaker: Robert Lee What could God do if you gave the next year of your life to truly knowing Him? This message centers on the two greatest commands from The Gospel of Matthew 22:36–39: to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind—and to love others as yourself. These aren’t just ideals; they are the foundation for building a life that aligns with what matters most to God. We explore how the Church responds corporately to these commands—through a life of prayer (loving God) and a life on mission (loving others). Discipleship isn’t about producing leaders, but forming wholehearted followers of Jesus who know Him deeply, become like Him, and make Him known. Drawing from The Epistle to the Hebrews 12, we’re invited to “run the race” with endurance—laying aside distractions and fixing our eyes on Jesus. This race is not a sprint but a lifelong pursuit, sometimes marked by intense seasons of growth and surrender. The love of Christ compels us (2 Corinthians 5:14–15). It moves us to pray, to give, and to go. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 9 that the harvest is plentiful, but laborers are few—inviting us into partnership with Him in seeing God’s will done on earth. At the core of it all: Jesus Himself is the reward. Not outcomes, not ministry success—but Him. His zeal sustains the mission and guarantees its fulfillment (Isaiah 9:7). The call is simple but costly: Will you plant your life in the local church? Will you take ownership of God’s Kingdom where He has placed you? Like a seed falling into the ground (John 12), true fruit comes through surrender. This message is an invitation—to run, to love, to give your life fully to Jesus, and to become a spiritual mother or father who helps others follow Him.
