The Film Partnership of North Carolina is a nonprofit that offers training and PAID internships to state residents who want to put their skills (from carpentry and electrical to makeup and catering) to use on live movie and television sets. A New Film Studio Comes to North Carolina!

Filmmaker Robert Rippberger and former NFL player Jason Brown are teaming up to launch White Lightning Studio, a 1200+ acre film hub and event center, in North Carolina. Robert recently shot the feature-length film "Renner," starring Frankie Muniz and Violett Beane, in Spring Hope, NC. The New Carolinas Film Collective

The NCFC is a grassroots organization that hosts events for filmmakers of every skill level. These events range from social get-togethers and movie screenings to technical workshops and screenwriting courses, all designed for beginners and experts alike in the film and tv industry to make connections and grow in their craft. Co-founders Austin Pigza and Blake Kinsey tell us all about how the NCFC came into existence, why the organization matters to the health and growth of the film and tv industry in NC, and how you can join.
