This is the first case I have written like a story. It was important for me to do because Denises story is so important. She could have been any of us. The long bright yellow rental truck was a stark contrast to the small home. Ryder was painted in black letters
across the side. It was old and dirty. A long extension cord ran out of the back and to the small house.
The police surrounded it, believing it was just a stolen van. But why would it need power. Whatever was inside
that truck needed to be uncovered. They slowly lifted the back and stood back in silence. The heavy
door clanked and revealed a dark empty truck. The police gave a sigh as they continued to walk inside.
Thinking it was empty. At the back they spotted something white. Thy shown their flashlights on it and
uncovered to be a large white freezer. It was filthy and covered in dirt and grime. The extension cord
was hooked to it and it made a slow hum signally it was on. They came closer and decided to open it.
Only to see that it was padlocked shut. once they removed the padlock the top opened with a creak.
There was plastic. Alot of it. This was something that was strange and for peace of mind they began to
cut away the plastic wrapping. One, Two, Three layers through. All of a sudden white flesh caught there
eyes. It was a human arm. The detectives jumped back as they saw a tiny body of a girl, naked in the fetal
position. Her hands were secured behind her with thick bright metal handcuffs. It was the missing girl,
Denise Huber.
