Acerca de Echoes From the Lampstand

Welcome to Echoes from the Lampstand — where the light of God’s Word shines into everyday life. Echoes from the Lampstand exists to help saints encounter Scripture with clarity, depth, and devotion. Our desire is simple: to lift high the Lord Jesus Christ through faithful exposition of the Bible, applying ancient truth to the needs of today’s church. Whether through our podcast, written resources, or teaching ministry, we seek to echo the light of the Lampstand—God’s unchanging Word—into a world desperately in need of truth and hope.

From the rainbow of covenant mercy to the twenty-four elders, the seven lamps of fire, and the thunderings proceeding from the throne, every symbol reveals God’s unfolding plan in the Gospel Day. This study examines the heavenly perspective needed to understand prophecy, the role of the ministry, the beauty of the New Covenant in Christ, and the power of God’s Word going forth with light and authority. Before the seals are opened, one truth is established above all: everything proceeds from the throne.

After the triumph and restoration seen in Philadelphia, Christ now addresses a church rich in light, truth, and opportunity—yet tragically disconnected from the Source. Drawing from Revelation 3:14–22, we explore the meaning of spiritual lukewarmness, the danger of man-made systems replacing fresh communion with God, and the sobering reality of a ministry operating with form but without fire. Using the historical background of ancient Laodicea and its lukewarm aqueduct waters, this message unfolds powerful parallels between organized religion and the loss of spiritual fervency. From “I know thy works” to “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock,” this episode is a call to return to the fountain of living waters, recover prophetic vision, and seek once again the fresh flow of the Word and Spirit. Though Laodicea receives no commendation, Christ’s voice still calls in love: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” This is not merely a study of an ancient church—it is a searching message for the church today.

What began as restoration now becomes manifestation: not just more truth, but power, authority, and divine movement. As God sends a spiritual “earthquake,” systems are shaken, doors are opened, and a clear call begins to sound: “Come out of her, my people.” This is the era where the Word and the Spirit are restored to their rightful place, the message of the one Church is revived, and a people are gathered out of Babylon and back to Zion. We examine Christ as “he that is holy, he that is true,” the significance of the open door that no man can shut, and the powerful message that defined this period—unity outside of sectarian division, grounded in truth and holiness. But alongside this restoration comes a warning: “Hold that fast which thou hast.” Because what God restores, men can mishandle. This episode explores the rise, the message, and the underlying danger within Philadelphia—setting the stage for what comes next.

Following the Reformation, light had come through justification by faith. But instead of continuing in that light, men organized it—forming sects and systems that lacked spiritual life. Sardis represents a cloudy day—truth present, but not fully embraced. We explore the Wesleyan call to sanctification and holiness, the danger of having truth without life, and Christ’s warning to strengthen what remains before it dies. Even here, there is a remnant—souls who have not defiled their garments, still walking in purity, crying out for fullness. And as Sardis comes to a close… something begins to shake.
