Peter: The same way we get to know each other on this Earth as friends is similar to the way we get to know the God of the universe – through conversation and time. I have always been drawn to the Gospel stories such as "The Road to Emmaus" and "The Transfiguration" because the apostles accompany Jesus to a destination. For anyone who has been destined for anywhere, you spend a lot of time in conversation with people around you. It's this equation of conversation + time that equals relationship. This podcast is a conversation, not an interview – because real people have conversations, they don’t interview each other. That is the aim of the "Engaged By The Spirit" podcast: to spend time in conversation with each other to share stories, ideas, and glorify God. I never imagined I would live in five different U.S. states, let alone the Vatican City-State, but that is what the Lord had in store for me. As a result, I have met hundreds of incredible and fascinating people. Just when I think my cup of friends is full, it overflows with another community of people. Most recently, joining the Air Force as a chaplain has my cup running over again. This podcast is all about getting to know a huge variety of people, and about how when the Holy Spirit locked onto them, and engaged them in the Divine Life… it changed everything! We are excited and grateful to bring this podcast to you, and hope you enjoy these conversations as much as I have.

Jordan Salame

Fr. Peter sits down for a chat with Jordan Salame, who worked as an intern in the Vocations Office and provided the incredible on-location footage seen at the beginning of every podcast episode! In this episode filmed last summer, they reflect on sharing the Gospel through media, how communication shapes culture, and how Jordan’s studies at Ave Maria University will help him do this. Fr. Peter and Jordan also discuss charismatic prayer and healing, being a Catholic missionary, true masculinity, putting God first above everything, and discerning your vocation. Me suscribi con los 14 días de prueba para escuchar el Podcast de Misterios Cotidianos, pero al final me quedo mas tiempo porque hacia tiempo que no me reía tanto. Tiene Podcast muy buenos y la aplicación funciona bien.
