Acerca de Fermenting: God’s Not Done With Me Yet

“Fermenting, God’s Not Done With Me Yet!” is where baking meets soul work. The oven is always preheated for truth, grace, and second chances. Elizabeth, is a married mom of 3 kids, a student in Regent University’s law program, who has also reopened her Grandfather’s Bakery. An imperfect Christian Baker who’s taking her turn as a podcaster.  Elizabeth believes just like dough waiting to rise we are all a work in progress.  Each week she has a co-host that shares their story.  Listen in as we learn from each other. Whether Elizabeth is stretching dough or placing herself in predicaments that stretch her faith, Elizabeth believes God is still working in the middle of it all. So grab a cup of coffee and a slice of bread, meet our episode guest host, and let’s rise together.

Season Finale: Talking Thick Crust with John Gray

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2502579/fan_mail/new] In this heartfelt season finale of "Fermenting," Elizabeth Norton Gray invites her husband, John Gray, to discuss the importance of resilience and developing a thick skin, especially for their children. The episode opens with a warm introduction, highlighting the couple's supportive relationship and the unique setting of their living room podcast studio. They delve into the challenges of growing up, particularly the harsh realities of childhood bullying and societal expectations, emphasizing the need for children to learn how to navigate criticism and remain true to themselves. Elizabeth shares a powerful verse from 2 Timothy 1:7, which serves as a foundation for their discussion on fear, self-acceptance, and the importance of trusting in God amidst external pressures.  As the conversation unfolds, John reflects on his own experiences with bullying and how he transformed perceived weaknesses into strengths. They explore the idea that children should not seek approval from everyone but instead focus on their relationship with God and the values instilled by their parents. The episode culminates in a poignant reminder that while societal opinions may fluctuate, God's truth remains constant, providing a solid anchor for identity and purpose. Elizabeth and John conclude with heartfelt messages for their children, encouraging them to embrace their individuality and trust in divine guidance as they navigate life's challenges.
