Acerca de Floating Thoughts

I’ve created this podcast to create a safe space to have conversations we’re often scared to have or are simply neglected from. Your feelings and thoughts matter. Building this type of community has been a long dream of mine, and I’m so happy to share that it’s finally coming true. 🤍

Ep. 20 | Who Looks After Me? Ft. Janesia

On this episode of Floating Thoughts, Lally brings on Janesia as her last guest of Season 2. Janesia begins by talking about who she is now vs who she was growing up. She touches a little bit on who she dreamt of becoming as a kid, but later finding passion in becoming an elementary teacher. Lally also asks her if she has found happiness and what it means to her, in which Janesia explains that she doesn’t think happiness is something you can just grasp, but instead something you have to keep building. They both also touch down on therapy and how rare it is talked about in both the Hispanic and African American culture. Lally ends the podcast by asking Janesia what she would tell her younger self in which she responds with “Be fearless and use your voice.” And with that, we close out Season 2! Thank you all for your support and I hope to see you guys in Season 3! Hope you all enjoy!
