Nico Burns Makes His Debut for Fort Wayne in 4-2 Loss to Union Omaha in USL Cup Play

Despite the final score of 4-2, Saturday's match wasn't a total loss for Fort Wayne Football Club. The traveled to the toughest stadium in the league to play the toughest team in the league, in a competitive match that had no ramifications for the league. This match was part of the USL Cup and gave Fort Wayne FC a real time look at the Owls, whom they will face two more times in league play this season. Having all but been eliminated from the Cup, this match gave them the chance to rotate the squad, rest some players, and debut another. Nico Burns, at just 17 years of age, made his professional debut on the pitch in Omaha and he joins us to talk about it.
