In this episode of Imagine Sundance, we will explore what it means to find one's inner creative self. This episode examines how some have found ways to express themselves through art at the Sundance Art Studio. Sundance General Manager Chad Linebaugh interviews Megan Ai You, the Studio's Director, as she walks us through the Gallery and describes how guests to the Sundance Mountain Resort experience workshops in drawing, painting, jewelry making, pottery, soap making, photography and more. There are also interviews with actual workshop participants who have learned that the Sundance Art Studio is a zen lodge, with hammers and blow torches. Art at the Sundance Mountain Resort has always been a key ingredient in the unique success that keeps loyal guests coming back time and time again to this unique Rocky Mountain get away.

The Sundance Film Festival opens again in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The Sundance Mountain Resort is at the heart of the Sundance Film Festival. Film actor and director Robert Redford established the Sundance Film Institute in 1981 to educate aspiring film makers right here at his cherished Sundance Mountain Resort. By 1985, the Sundance Film Festival was created to give independent film makers a venue to present their creations to the world. The festival soon became one of the most respected festivals in the world of film making. In this podcast, Sundance General Manager Chad Linebaugh visits with Bonnie Sherman, a highly respected travel agent from San Diego, California who has been leading groups of enthusiastic film lovers to the Sundance Film Festival since 2002. Chad and Bonnie explore lodging, dining and film screening options available at the resort, including little known value packages available to Film Festival travelers. Bonnie explains her secret is to simply escort them up the canyon and open the shuttle door to the peaceful mountain retreat. From that point forward they are convinced there is no other way to attend the Sundance Film Festival. If you love serenity, excellent dining, mountain vistas and are interested in attending one of the most unique film festivals in the world, you won't want to miss this episode!
itunes pic [https://assets.podomatic.net/ts/25/5a/92/wachristensen/1400x1400_10439916.jpg] In the early 1980's, film actor and director Robert Redford began to add lodging to his Sundance Mountain Resort in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. His commitment to the environment played a huge role in the design and construction of the lodging. Few if any large pine trees, aspen groves and other natural foliage was removed or even distrubed, despite the added cost during construction. The result thirty years later, guests arrive at Sundance and often ask if any lodging even exists at the resort. Hidden in the forest are beautiful rustic lodges built around decades old trees, allowing guests to be "in the forest" and a part of nature. In this podcast, General Manager Chad Linebaugh takes a tour through the expertly designed and well hidden lodges with Bryan Kindred, Director of Lodging at the Sundance Mountain Resort.
