S3 | E7 - When One Person Moves, The Family Evolves | Intentionality Podcasst ft. Siveej Family

Some families spend weekends in malls. Some families gather around a dining table. The Siveej family chose to suffer together. What started as casual cycling during COVID slowly transformed into something much bigger. Siveej, went from riding heavy bicycles as a schoolboy in Thrissur just to watch movies to completing some of the toughest endurance events in the world: Super Randonneur rides, Paris–Brest–Paris, and a 2024-kilometre cycling event across Thailand. What’s this episode about? It is about how one person’s curiosity slowly changed the culture of an entire home. His son Arjun quietly picked up running. His wife Shani accepted a casual family challenge to run Chamundi Hills. A first 10K in October became a half marathon within weeks. Then came an even crazier idea - a 50K ultra marathon. They didn’t have a coach, no sophisticated training plan. No expensive setup. Just evening runs after work, practice loops around Mysuru Outer Ring Road, YouTube research, family support, and the willingness to keep moving. What makes this story powerful is not the finish times. It is the small moments: * buying water from roadside shops during long runs, * running through pain and cramps, * Shani targeting the next 5 kilometres when the body wanted to stop, * Arjun refusing to quit after muscle cramps, * Siveej constantly moving between family members during the ultra to make sure both were okay, * and a family discovering that endurance is less about talent and more about belief. One of the biggest lessons from this conversation is that most limits are negotiated mentally long before they become physical. Shani says something unforgettable in this episode: “When I am tired, I should not stop. I should stop only when I am done.” Another beautiful insight: “Fun is choosing discomfort willingly.” This podcast is also a reminder that fitness does not have to isolate families. It can bring families together. You do not need perfect preparation to begin. You do not need to be fast to call yourself a runner. You do not need elite genetics to attempt hard things. Sometimes all it takes is: * curiosity, * consistency, * support, * and people who believe in you when you begin doubting yourself. This is one of the most human conversations we’ve had on Intentionality. Featuring: Siveej, Shani, and Arjun — the family that went from first 10Ks to a 50K ultra together. #IntentionalityPodcast #BeAthlit #UltraRunning #FamilyFitness #RunningCommunity #50KUltra #EnduranceSports #IndianRunners #Mindset #FamilyGoals #RunningJourney #FitnessLifestyle #MarathonTraining #BengaluruRunners

One Constant in a Moving Life: The Story behind Manoj’s India Jersey

Running from Hebbal to Shantinagar before sunrise. Cycling from Shantinagar to Sarjapur for work. Repeating the entire loop in reverse by evening. Clocking 24 km of running every single day — just to prepare for a 100K race. This is the life Manoj Bhat chose. From cutting short his honeymoon and asking his wife to meet him at the finish line, to running 75 km with a congested chest — Manoj’s journey often looks like madness from the outside. But beneath it lies a simple philosophy: Pick one thing. Hold on to it. Let everything else dance around it. That philosophy began years ago in Boopasandra, Bengaluru — with long walks, quiet runs, and discipline built unknowingly. It carried him from local trails to ultra races, from 202 km in 24 hours to wearing the India jersey, and winning a team bronze at the Asian Championships. Even two ACL surgeries couldn’t stop him. Life tried. Injuries tried. But Manoj kept returning to that one thing — running. Today, he is rebuilding, chasing, and dreaming again. A reminder that when you commit deeply enough to one thing, it can take you farther than you ever imagined. 🎥 Shot at MiddleOvers Studio 🤝 Sponsored by Glampies

S3 | E5 - Train in your 20s, Peak in your 50s - The Making of a Masters Athlete

What if the strength you build in your twenties shows up in your fifties? What if discipline in the gym quietly shapes success at work? In this episode of Intentionality, we sit down with Krishna Kumar Shetty, a former CEO of leading global automobile brands and a Masters powerlifter who began competing at 57. Krishna started training in his twenties and never stopped. Across decades of demanding leadership roles, global travel, and family responsibilities, he protected one non-negotiable habit: movement. That discipline didn’t just build a strong body, it built clarity, consistency, and excellence in his professional life. Today, he stands on powerlifting platforms, winning gold medals in the Masters category, proving that age is not a limitation when habits are built early and carried forward intentionally. This conversation explores: How to build discipline young and sustain it for life What a CEO’s day really looks like — and how fitness fits into it Why starting early allows you to peak later The role of family and environment in shaping lifelong fitness Why competing as a Masters athlete is about mastery, not medals Krishna Kumar Shetty’s story is a reminder that discipline doesn’t retire — and when you live with intent, every decade can be your prime. Listen in for a conversation on strength, leadership, and living life with purpose. 🎙️ Shot at MiddleOvers Studios — a professional podcast studio in Bangalore known for cozy creator-friendly spaces, cinematic setups, and top-tier audio-video equipment for podcasts, interviews, and long-form storytelling. 🌿 Sponsored by The Glampies — a premium glamping destination near Bangalore where luxury meets nature, adventure meets calm, and every stay is designed for meaningful escapes.

S3 | E4 - One life - Make it count with Triathlete Laksh Jain

At 17, Laksh Jain signed up for an Ironman without knowing how to swim. He trained in his apartment pool using YouTube. Finished Ironman 70.3 Goa in 6:01. Came back two years later and clocked 5:19:55. But this isn’t just a triathlon story. It’s about a 20-year-old from Rajajinagar who walked away from cricket, skipped college lectures to train, sold his bike when he almost gave up—and still chose to return stronger. Today, he splits his time between racing Ironman events and building a performance socks brand, InSkinn. This is a story about choosing discomfort over convenience. About showing up with no excuses. And about chasing something bigger than “just a degree.” 🎙️ In this episode of Intentionality, we talk about: * The mindset of a young athlete and entrepreneur * Why he almost quit triathlon—and what brought him back * How he balances Ironman training with building a startup * Why he refuses to live an average life Whether you’re an athlete, student, founder, or someone still figuring life out—this episode will remind you of one thing: You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start. 🎧 Tune in now 🎧 Recorded at MiddleOvers Studios — a professional podcast studio in Bangalore where creators bring stories to life with cozy spaces, cinematic setups, and top-tier audio-visual equipment for podcasts, reels, interviews, and long-form content. 🌿 Sponsored by The Glampies — a premium glamping destination near Bangalore where luxury meets nature, pods meet peace, and adventure blends seamlessly with calm. S3 | E3 - Transformation at 40: Harsha’s Path to Ironman and Inner Strength

Harsha’s life is a testament to transformation — from a shy Mumbai schoolgirl to a teacher, yogi, healer, and Ironman finisher. She started her journey early, teaching science and maths while still in college. But years of long corporate hours and incorrect gym training left her with severe back and neck pain — until yoga changed the direction of her life. Through yoga, pranic healing, and sound therapy, Harsha not only healed herself but stepped into her purpose. Today, she helps women through fertility challenges, leads transformational retreats, and is the force behind Kolkata’s iconic YogaThon event. At 39, she didn’t know how to swim or cycle. By 40, she crossed the finish line at Ironman 70.3 Goa — proving that age doesn’t define strength, intention does. In this episode of The Intentionality Podcast, Harsha talks about: • Her early struggles — and the teacher who transformed her path • Finding yoga, energy healing, and purpose through pain • Training herself for Ironman 70.3 Goa from scratch • The mindset shifts that helped her rebuild her life • Practical advice on healing, discipline, and personal growth
