Likability - How to have people who LOVE being around you.

The difference between having influence and not isn’t always about your knowledge, skills, or wisdom. Sometimes it boils down to people just don’t want to be around you for very long. Truthfully? This feels like a not-so-spiritual podcast, but being someone people want to be around is just called being a faithful, holy spirt filled Christian. This week, Jor Talks about the language of INFLUENCE. In this podcast, he dives into how to set people at ease (+ what makes people feel anxious), and what small skills you can incorporate into your daily life to grow how others view you. In 14 years, a lot of things are going to be different. It's almost hard to imagine how different AI will make our daily life and the experiences we have. Transportation, communication, phones, media, politics will all in some way be effected by AI, and our culture will look and feel different. The Church is not immune to these changes. 2040 will have large implications for the church as well. In this Episode, JOR TALKS about 3 different shifts he believes will take place in every thriving church, and also 9 things that the members of the church will need to do in order to steward the church into the future. For most of these things, it's a needed and necessary shift back towards what the Bible intended anyway! Jor Talks about what happens when you delay obedience, when bitterness and unforgiveness take root, and how easy it is to fall into self-justifying loops - whether that’s playing the victim, being hyper-critical, or even becoming spiritually prideful. Jor also dives into things we don’t always talk about: avoiding risk and choosing comfort, shutting down emotionally, ignoring conviction, and convincing ourselves “I already know this” so we stop growing altogether. If you’ve been feeling stuck, there’s a reason, and there’s a way out.
