Abe Jackson

Neat Conversations is ecstatic to welcome Abe Jackson to the show! Abe Jackson is a Boise legend, he graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1998, winning the state championship in his senior year. Abe stayed home and played forward for the Broncos from 1998-2002. He started in 79-106 as a Bronco and averaged 15.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists. During his time at Boise State Abe made the All-Conference time three times, twice in the Big West and once in the WAC. Jackson ranks fourth in three-point field goals (253), sixth in field goals made (544) and seventh in total points (1,660). Abe went on to play professional basketball in France for Valence-Condom after his career at Boise State. He returned to the Treasure Valley after his basketball career and became the men's basketball radio color analyst in 2008. Jackson is still the radio voice of Boise State men's basketball and was named the 2025 Idaho Sportscaster of The Year by the National Sports Media Association.

Quintin Mikell

Neat Conversations is ecstatic to welcome Quintin Mikell to the show. Mikell played safety for Boise State from 1999-2002. He was the 2002 WAC Defensive Player of the Year and is ranked second for career tackles at Boise State with 401. Quintin was a crucial part in the Broncos rise to national relevancy in the early 2000s. He went undrafted in 2003 and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Mikell went on to have a very successful 11 year NFL career. He is a 2x NFL All-Pro and was selected to the 2009 Pro Bowl. After his playing career, Quintin spent time as the Director of Player Engagement for the Eagles. Today, Mikell is the Defensive Coordinator for Rocky Mountain High School.

Kekaula Kaniho

Neat Conversations is thrilled to welcome Kekaula Kaniho to the show. Kaniho played nickleback for the Broncos from 2017-2021. During his career at Boise State Kekaula recorded a total of 217 tackles, 158 solo tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 6 interceptions and 4 forced fumbles. He was a major force for the Bronco secondary during his time playing. Kaniho was honored on the All-Mountain West First Team in 2019, the All-Mountain West Second Team in 2020, the Academic All-Mountain West team 4x (2017-2020), selected as a 4x Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (2017-2020) and was awarded the Senior CLASS Award in 2020, the only Bronco to ever win the award. The Broncos won two MW Championships (2017, 2019) and the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl while Kaniho was on the team. Kekaula graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2021 with a near perfect GPA and works as a commercial real estate agent today for TOK Commercial.

DJ Schramm

Neat Conversations is excited to welcome DJ Schramm to the show. Schramm was a Bronco Linebacker from in 2019-2023. During his career Schramm had a total of 192 tackles, 99 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 punt block. DJ was honored on the All-Mountain West Second Team in 2022, the Academic All-Mountain West team 5x (2019-2023) and was a 2x Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (2019-20, 2022-23). The Broncos won two MW Championships (2019, 2023) and the 2022 Frisco Bowl while Schramm was on the football team. Schramm graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Boise State in 2023. Today, he works as a Forensics Engineer for Roberts Forensics.

Taylor Tharp

Neat Conversations is ecstatic to welcome Taylor Tharp to the show. Tharp was the Broncos starting quarterback in 2007 and one of the greatest backup QBs of all time. As the starter Taylor finished the season ranked seventh-nationally in passing efficiency (152.85) and was selected to the All-WAC second-team. As the backup Taylor helped signal plays and determine the offensive game plan, he was instrumental in calling The Statue of Liberty play that won the Broncos the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. After his time at Boise State, Tharp played in the Arena Football League for the Boise Burn and the Utah Blaze. Tharp won two Italian Football League championships with the Parma Panthers, serving as the quarterback, QB coach and offensive coordinator. Tharp returned to Boise State in 2014, working as the Director of Operations and External Relations. Today, Taylor is a Vice President at TitleOne in the Treasure Valley and helps the Boise State program in any way he can.
