When a desperate halfling loses a precious Kotal feather—a rare artifact from a benevolent creature that once saved humanity—to the flames of an angry bugbear casino owner, our adventurers find themselves drawn into a conflict that touches on debts, family heirlooms, and potentially dangerous political connections. Their journey takes them from the welcoming atmosphere of the Lucky Leap tavern to the opulent and slightly sinister Triple Nine casino, where negotiations quickly reveal the complex web of power they're entangled in.
