Gossip Is Not Harmless, It's Sinful

Most of us can recall a time where we either listened to gossip, spread gossip, or were the topic of gossip. Gossip is something that people in today's society look at as something fun and harmless to do with friends or bring up when the conversation is lacking. As Christians, we are to live differently and stand apart from this world. There are many verses in the Bible about taming the tongue and how our words hold so much weight. Vanity: The Sin We Don't Talk About

Dear Christian, this world would try to trick us and make us believe that is normal to take excessive care of our physical appearance, and that we need to follow a certain pattern of beauty, but the Bible tells us that beauty is vain because it passes away, it says that our bodies will age and perish. Remember what Pauls says in 1 Peter 3:3-4 “Do not let your adorning be external — the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear — but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious”

Do I Need To Read The Bible EVERY DAY?

Reading the Bible every day is a discipline that many Christians aspire to do, but sadly, many do not.
