Leigh Evans

Leigh Evans is from a prominent motorsport family and has made a name for herself trackside at all levels of motorsport from grassroots to Supercars. Recently she was in Race Control and the Chief Flag Marshall at the Historic Racing Car Club Qld TTT weekend at Morgan Park. Leigh has been travelling Australia with her parents and partner for many years volunteering in numerous roles. Bathurst 1000, Supercars, Bathurst 12 Hour, SuperSprints, State Championships, ChallengeBathurst, Mt Cotton Hillclimb are just some of the events Leigh has attended in her travels and local to home. Leigh is a Silver Licence holder and has been honoured with awards such as QRDA Families in Motorsport Award (presented to Leigh, her mother (Judy) and father (David)), 2013 Track Official of the Event at SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Rockie of the Event 2014 Sydney 500 in the role of Trainee Sector Marshall. With over 30 years of motorsport involvement Mary has a wealth of knowledge to share and loves to do so. Mary had her voluntary service recognised by Motorsport Australia (CAMS at the time) in 2012 with a service award which she is most proud of. John joined the military as a young man and travelled all over the world with his family but once settling back in Australia, John got right back in cars, Clubs and motorsport with the support of his wife Marian. John has been a member of MG Car Club Queensland, MX-5 Car Club Queensland and BMW Club Queensland and volunteered within these Clubs in roles such as Chapter Leader, Drive Coordinator, Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant to Motorsport Director and ICC Coordinator.
