This week's episode brings us to the mid 1970's when the Watergate Scandal broke. The Rebel Woman of the day is Jill Wine-Banks who worked tirelessly on the Watergate prosecution team. Jill worked at a time where sexism was rampant, and women's rights had only just started taking shape in the forms of right to education, the right to access birth control, and the right to your own bank account. Episode 2: Selma van de Perre

This week's Woman du Jour is the life of Dutch Jewish Resistance fighter, Selma van de Perre, née Velleman. In this episode, I delve into her life as a young, 20 something woman who works as a courier for those fighting the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, and is eventually captured and sentenced to prison in the infamous Ravensbrück concentration camp that was the only all female concentration camp. Her story makes up one of many women at the time that fought in ways people couldn't have imagined at that time (women in France couldn't even vote!).
