However, ultimately, God wants to see the change and transformation in our hearts. God touched King Nebuchadnezzar's life in many ways, but He wanted to change his heart. That's what God wants in your life. He wants to change your heart. How does God do that? Let's see How God changed the most powerful king's heart in Daniel 4. 하나님은 우리를 구원하시길 원하십니다. 하나님을 우리가 그분의 도움이 필요할 때, 우리를 도우시며, 우리의 삶에 깊게 관여하시는 분이십니다. 하지만 그게 다가 아니에요. 하나님의 궁극적인 목적은 우리의 마음을 변화시키시는 것입니다. 하나님께서는 느부갓네살 왕의 삶에 깊게 관여하셨지만, 그 끝에, 하나님은 그의 마음을 변화시키길 원하셨습니다. 하나님은 여러분의 마음에도 변화기 있기를 원하십니다. 어떻게 하시냐구요? 이 에피소드를 통해서 우리는 하나님께서 당시에 세상에서 가장 강력한 왕의 마음을 어떻게 변화시키셨는지 볼 수 있습니다.

Just look around and check the daily news. I don't know how many of you think things are improving. With natural disasters, conflicts, wars, disease, economic and political instability... you just name things these days. We are living in an interesting world. 요즘 세상을 둘러보면 정말로 안타까운 소식들 밖에 없는 듯 합니다. 자연제해에 전쟁, 질병, 정차와 경제적 불안감... 우리가 듣고 보는 모든 소식이 암울하죠. 우리는 정말로 흔치 않은 일들로 매일을 보내고 있는 것 같습니다. In times like this, people wonder what our world will be like in the future. We predict the future with half hope and half fear. 이런 불안한 때에, 사람들은 미래를 궁금해합니다. 우리의 미래는 어떨까? 미래에 대한 생각은 반은 희망으로, 그리고 반은 두려움일꺼라 생각이 드네요. Here, I want to introduce God, who predicted what the future would be like. You will hear and realize someone sees something bigger than what we see. He knows the future and is eager to let us know what will be like. Why? Because He loves us. 이번 에피소드에서는 다니엘서 2장에 나온 하나님을 소개했습니다. 우리의 미래를 다 알고계신 분이시죠. 미래를 아는 것 뿐 아니라, 미래에 대한 이야기를 우리에게 알려주시려고 작정하신 분으로 성경에 소개됩니다. 왜 그러실까요? 우리를 사랑하시기 때문입니다. (영어 방송) Turning Defeat into Victory (Daniel 1)

When we face defeats or failures, we ask God, "Why?" or "Why didn't you care?" It feels miserable when we feel like there is no way out. Did God fail? Or did he allow this to happen to me? Daniel had an experience like that. His country was conquered, and his city was destroyed. He was separated and taken as a captive. If the story ends like this, it is pretty miserable. But that wasn't the end of it. In this episode, we ask that tough question and see how God turns our defeats into an awesome victory. This Daniel & Revelation series is based on Pastor Mark Finely's book "Daniel and Revelation." 우리가 실폐를 경험하거나 좌절할 때, 하나님께 이런 질문을 하곤하죠. "왜죠?" 아니면 "왜 하나님은 신경을 안쓰시는 건가요?" 이럴때면 절망감이 들죠. 아무대도 기댈곳이 없는 것처럼 느껴지구요. 하나님이 믿을만한 분이 아닌가? 왜 나에게 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 놔두시나? 성경에 다니엘은 이런 실망과 좌절을 처절히 경험한 사람이었습니다. 그의 나라가 정복당하고, 그가 살던 고향이 황폐하게 변했죠. 가족과 생이별을 해야했고, 포로로 잡혀갔습니다. 이쯤에서 이야기가 끝났다면 참 참담한 이야기가 아닐 수 없을겁니다. 하지만 다니엘의 이야기는 여기서 끝이 아니었습니다. 이번 에피소드에서는 하나님께서 어떻게 우리의 좌절과 실패를 승리로 이끄시는지에 대해서 이야기 해보려고 합니다.
