With HQ demanding answers, the agents weigh how far they are willing to push a midnight approach in a blizzard. Back in Willis, the town search turns up a major lead at the Parker place. The walls are covered in clippings, sketches, and a hand drawn map that frames the lake mounds as part of a deliberate pattern. A suicide note and an old obituary add a human cost to the history and suggest the dreams and voices did not stop just because someone tried to make them stop. As exhaustion and pressure stack up, tensions inside the quarantine finally snap. After a violent confrontation, the group scrambles to contain the damage, treat wounds, and keep the mission moving. We focus on investigative horror, inter agency tension, and the consequences of classified operations that spiral beyond control. Jack Frost is a 1998 side story following a joint operation responding to a deadly and localized cold phenomenon in Willis, Alabama.  In Part 5, the team uncovers historical records linking sudden winter deaths in Willis to older tribal legends surrounding the Wind Clan and snake worship near Crow Lake. Letters, diaries, and archived news reports suggest that similar events have occurred for over a century. As research unfolds, another team tracks increasing radiation readings toward the lake itself. What appears at first to be environmental contamination becomes something far stranger. The source is not in the water, but suspended above it. The investigation is no longer just about weather.
