Acerca de THE BUSYNESS

Busyness. Not to be confused with either business nor being busy. The decompression of a life full of thoughts, some conflicting some complimentary. I’m a self employed, single and currently quarantined man looking to share stories of the shit I have dealt with in both business and personal life, as well as the positives that have come out the back of it!

DEFINING WELLBEING - with Sara Ayres, The Base Body Co.

Sara Ayres, is the Founder of The Base Body Co, and ex London dweller like myself. The main reason I wanted to have a conversation with her (despite being great), is that she left London last year like I did, and as we have returned ‘home’ nearer to our respective routes, I wanted to unravel the ideas a little bit about location, where you live and ask actually, does it matter so much where you live now in a new Covid world? Also, after the demands of big city living began to take their toll and her craving for self-care grew deeper, Sara set out on her own exploration for convenient, holistic and natural antidotes to modern living. The Base Body Co. was born, and it aims to redefine the relationship we have with our health. From emigration to elixirs, it’s a really important conversation regarding health and well-being. Check out her awesome self care journaling, courses and products at at https://thebasebodyco.com or follow on IG @thebasebodyco P.S. BUSINESS LEADERSHIP MINDSET - featuring Dionne Williams, Get Set Go

So today we’re taking a slightly different track. I have an important conversation to share with Dionne Williams is a Mindset Confidence Coach & Business Strategist (and old friend and colleague), and founder of Get Set Go. After 15 years experience in Financial Services helping hundreds of businesses of all shapes and sizes, she now works with aspiring business owners and professionals to empower them to achieve clarity in purpose, and to develop confidence, maximise and package their talents. The reason I wanted to speak to Dionne is that, like so many businesses who work in mental health and personal development, Dionne is someone who has had her own experiences, and in turn shape her output now. The thing we really get into is her focus as a Mindset coach, where she finds herself helping clients dissolve limiting beliefs and emotional blocks, to help them move forward and create the freedom and fulfilment that they desire. We also talk about jobs, toxic and narcissistic relationships, Stockholm Syndrome, Mental health, and owning your own path to succeed and feel good. Hope you enjoy and get something out of it! COOKING: Catching up with Amelia, trained chef and founder of In Mimi's Kitchen

Today’s episode for a rainy day. Think about how you can use food to manage your mental health, time and finances better! Amelia is a former colleague in the world of media, but is now also a trained chef. I don’t need to intro much, just have a listen. She wrote the bio herself so just leaving this here...  “Hey! I’m Amelia! Anyone who knows me knows that food is my happy place! I love trying new restaurants, reading my endless pile of cookbooks and, most of all, cooking in my own kitchen for my family & friends. This passion led me to embark on a cooking course at Leiths School of Food & Wine at the start of 2020. While I love nothing more than putting on my chef whites, at the end of day I am a London girl, who lives on her own. Most of the time I’m cooking for myself on an average London salary, so the day-to-day reality isn’t quite as glamorous as it may seem! But it isn't all pesto pasta; cooking affordable, nutritional and most of all tasty meals is what I love!” Check her out IG: @in_mimis_kitchen  P.S.
