Episode 107 Monday 19th January

Its a Diabetic foot infection with great relief. WE get home and we play some chess then its lunch. I then go for the afternoon session at the gym. Then home cook my wifes dinner and then have mine. Tuesday. I attend a meeting with my my boss and the City Council. The work at Market Square is not up to Standard so the City Council has a form for the person that cleans in the evening to fill in. Then I go home in the evening. Wednesday. Work is still very quiet. The form at Market square is not being filled in. I go home on time in the evening. Thursday. Work is as usual quiet but the form at Market Square is now being filled in. I get home in the evening and my wife says that her right foot is no better. I tell her that if things have not improved then there might be a second visit to the GP. We both go to bed. Friday. Work continues to be quiet its times like these that I wish I am retired. However I get on with my work. I finish the week on time and then go for my evening session in the gym. And then home and help the wife into bed. Saturday. Its a quiet saturday and my wife's foot issue continues and there are no antibiotics left. We spend the morning playing chess and then in the afternoon my wife watch's the indoor bowls championship from potters. Sunday. Its the usual Sunday politics East on TV and then its off to Bar Hill for the weekly shop. Then home and then in the evening I cook Sunday Roast. I set the alarm for 8am tomorrow morning.

Episode 106 Monday 12th January

And then in the afternoon I go off for the usual gym session. In the evening I have concerns as I help my wife into bed. Her foot is very swollen and red. Is this a problem from years ago ? Tuesday. Back to work! Everything is clean and I start having a Cappuccino. Then I go home and cook the wife's dinner and then mine and then to bed. Wednesday. It's a very boring day at work and I head home on time. However the wife explains that her right foot is now painful to walk on. I tell her that this will mean a visit to the GP. Thursday. Work is still the same very quiet. I go home and the wife is still telling me about her foot. Friday. The end of the working week. Still very quiet I do the rounds and then home on time. The evening session at the gym and then to bed. Saturday. A very quiet day my wife's right foot is still very painful but I am at home so there are no concerns. Sunday. Its the usual Sunday. Watch Sunday politics east and then shopping and then in the evening cook Sunday Roast.

Episode 105 Monday 5th January 2026

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2275977/fan_mail/new] Monday. It's Back to the normal as Christmas is over. In the morning I start writing the next six episodes of my Podcast. Then it's lunch. My wife asks me at what time will I be back from the gym ? And I reply just after 5 and she is happy. I get home and as she is more reliant on me I cook her dinner. And then I cook mine and then to bed. Tuesday. It's back to work. It's cold wet and windu and there is no one around. So! it's a quiet day and I easily get the round clean and head off for home on time. We both have dinner and then my wife goes to bed and the a little while latter I go to bed. Wednesday. Nothing to write about as the day is still very quiet. I head for home on time I cook both dinners and then my wife goes to bed and then a little while later I go to bed. Thursday. Its just the same as yesterday and it begins to rain again. There is nothing to do during the day and then I head for home at the end. I do both dinners and then my wife goes to bed and then a little while later I go to bed. Friday.  Its the end of the working week and its even colder than it was at the begining of the week. Nothing happens during the day and I go and hand in the keys at lion yard and go home on time. Then I do both of our dinners and then I go and have my evening session at the gym. Then home and we both go to bed. Saturday. Its a ordinary saturday. My foot is swollen so I give my apologies to the litterpicking group but I am very happy as my wife's walking is getting better. We have our traditional fish and chips in the evening and the my wife watch's Judge Judy and I watch Youtube. And then we both go to bed. Sunday. Sunday politics is back on so both of us watch it. Then its off to Bar Hill for a Haircut and then the weekly shop and then home. In the evening I cook Sunday Roast.

Episode 104 Monday 29th December

After my Carers leave we head off to Bar Hill where she lives. We have a good day but the day comes to an end and we head off to home. We had dinner and then to bed. Tuesday. Today was a quiet day except I go and try another gym. I return and then spend the rest of the day with the wife. We then have dinner and then to bed. Wednesday. It's new years eve. And me and the wife spend another quiet day. However my wife is getting anxious because I am coming up to my last day on annual leave. A big test for my wife. Thursday. It's new years day. The last day I am annual leave. We have a disagreement about the living room light. But we resolve our difference's. Friday. First day back to work after three weeks off. Everyone is still back on holiday so not many people around. I treat myself to a Cappuccino as its so quiet. At the end of the day I hand back the keys and head for home. My wife tells me that she to has had a good day. Saturday. It's a very quiet Saturday because it's just after Christmas. In the evening it's our usual fish and chips and then my wife watch's Judge Judy and I watch some Youtube and then it's to bed. Sunday. No morning television just the morning papers and then it's off to Bar Hill for the weekly shop and then home. In the evening I cook the Sunday Roast.

Episode 103 Monday 22nd December

The morning Starts with watching Youtube and then lunch. Then in the afternoon it's the last gym session before Christmas. Then after the hour it's back home. Then in the evening it's more Youtube and then to bed. Tuesday. It's a very quiet day as my wife has been in hospital for such a long time. Nothing really to write about.Wednesday. Christmas eve and it's another quiet day. We have my wife's care visits which will continue over the Christmas Period due to her Medical issues. Thursday. It's Christmas day! We watch mostly television and we watch the traditional broadcast of our head of state. And then in the evening we cook the traditional Roast turkey dinner. And then we snuggle down. She watch's Judge Judy and I watch a lot of Youtube. And then we both go to bed. Friday. Again another quiet day. The only thing that happens is that my wife's carers come round to help my wife. Saturday. I was going to the gym today but my wife pleads with me not to go. So I stay at home for another quiet day. We have our usual Fish and Chips in the evening and then my wife watch's Judge Judy and I watch some Youtube and then to bed. Sunday. Although it's Christmas it's the usual Sunday. Read the Sunday papers and then off to Bar Hill to do the weekly shop and then home. In the evening I cook the Sunday Roast.
