In the three years Hoffman served as district youth director (DYD) for Illinois, giving to Speed the Light increased by more than $300,000. . Prior to serving as DYD, he was youth pastor at Abundant Life in Alton, Illinois — one of the Top 20 Giving Churches for Speed the Light during his tenure. . “Eric and Liz have a strong record of cultivating generosity and a passion for missions,” says General Superintendent Doug Clay. . Eric and his wife, Liz, have three children.

Along with his responsibilities at River Valley, Terry serves as the Global co-chair for Empowered21 NextGen's efforts in seeing an emerging generation of Spirit-filled leaders rise up to lead the Church into the future. . Terry travels and speaks internationally on leadership trends, and more specifically, generational shift and how that impacts the Church today. . He lives in the Minneapolis-metro area with his wife Christina and his daughters Avalie and Nova.

Chris, Christina, and their three children (Caleb, Chloe, and Corban) have served in ministry for over 20 years. . In that time they have worked in large and small churches, established churches and church plants, and in urban and rural communities. . Chris’s ministry experience has given him a unique ability to mentor the next generation of leaders in Christ’s church and prepare them for a variety of ministry contexts. . Chris and Christina stepped into their roles as the Student Ministries Directors for the state of Illinois in 2018 and are excited to share their passion for discipleship and evangelism across the state.
