My guest this episode is none other than Ventura local comedian Jake Gallo. This cool cat has performed on stages of all kinds, from local pizza shops, and dive bars, to some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country. In addition to doing stand up comedy, he also produces and hosts his own stand up comedy shows.  Jake was one of the first comics to show me love and respect when I first started doing open mic comedy in Ventura. This episode I catch up with my good friend Artie Lopez to see how we've each been handling the COVID-19 quarantine season.  As some of you may know, Artie Lopez is the host of Smoke N Mirrors Comedy Night, an open mic comedy show every Wednesday night at Gigi's cocktail lounge in Ventura. Along with producing his show, Artie also performs on his show and at other local open mics. However since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has now created an outdoor social distancing comedy show at a local little league baseball field in Oxnard and calls it "Jokes in the Outfield". Episode #20 Frank Castillo

Frank Castillo joins me for a pre-420 smoke sesh during this quarantine. I met Frank when he came to judge the Ventura Roast Battle held by my friend and fellow comedian Aaron Anderson. Frank Castillo grew up in San Jose, CA and was interested in comedy from a young age. Frank worked his way up at the iconic Los Angeles venue The Comedy Store, from staring as a door guy, to becoming a paid regular. Frank became a staple of The Comedy Store Roast Battles and in January of 2017, Frank became the Champion of Roast Battle II on Comedy Central.
