The Devil Is A Liar!

Send us a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/1499146/open_sms] This title is self explanatory!  The Devil is a liar because GOD says he is... as a matter of fact the Apostle John gives his account in the eight chapter of John verse 42 Jesus is speaking to a group of Jews who were questioning His identity and authority.  Jesus tells the Jews that their father is the devil, and its in your heart to carry out your father's desires!  He (devil)  was a killer from the beginning, ignoring the truth, for there's no truth in him. When he speaks, he lies, his native speech is lies, because he's the father of lies!  As Jesus continue to expose their hypocrisy and their failure to recognize Him as the Son of God.  Jesus challenges them to see the truth and turn away from the lies and deceit that connects them to the devil. So let us be discerning when it comes to the devil (adversary) trying to deceive us into rejection, negativity, lack, sickness, jealousy, poor self-worth, poverty, negative attitudes, lack of faith etc.  Rick Ross said it best in his song called "The Devil Is A Liar" to paraphrase the hook Ross said the "devil is liar bro I'm the truth. the devil is a liar. bro I'm the proof!"  Know that the promises of GOD are yes and amen. 2 Corinthians 1:20! Let me leave you with this I came across a reel on social media and it resonated significantly with me and encouraged me instantly!  The song was sung by Gospel legend Lisa Page Brooks the words are simple... Have you ever been hoping for something to happen? 02:41 All your hope, all your faith, trust and confidence that it's going to come through, strong. You see improvement, you're making strides. And a lot of times when, for me personally, when your hope... 03:25 get sucked up out of you by life and just unreasonable circumstances, it can really weigh a toll on your inner man and your outer man. And a lot of times people who experience hope deferred 03:56 if not aware of what's happening. 04:02 can go into depression. 04:06 regression, regrets, even suicidal thoughts or 04:18 unhealthy tendencies. So 04:23 I want to talk about being transparent. 04:29 And you know the three categories, transparent, translucent, and opaque. When your hope, when you feel like your hope is gone. 04:51 One thing for certain. 04:56 that will never ever ever change is life. Life is gonna keep lifeing. What do you mean by that? Meaning that despite how you feel, despite of what's going on around you, what's going on that includes you. 05:25 Life is gonna keep on moving. People are gonna keep on living. 05:33 time will keep on ticking even when it feels like your world has stopped. Whether that news that made your world stop is it's finding out you have an uncurable disease or finding out that 06:00 someone who you connected to. 06:07 for all your life or most of your life has seemingly transitioned. 06:16 from life to life beyond Earth? 06:24 Maybe it's a divorce. Maybe it's 06:32 your children not 06:36 acting the way in which you raise them. Whatever it may be that calls the shift in your heart. 06:50 and the hope to be smothered or smoldered, when it happens, it's the worst gut-wretched feeling that an individual can experience. 07:17 In my rehab. 07:21 I was experiencing great strides and growth and all of a sudden something just popped out that slowed me down and really just every step I took. 07:46 for progression seemed like it was countered with another step backwards.
