I’m in conversation with interior designer Sarah Sham, founder of @essajeesatelier.   Not originally an interior designer, she did her first project on the insistence of a client who fell in love with her aesthetic sensibilities and things took a turn from there! Sarah then went back to school to Rachna Sansad to study design at the age of 26. Today, Essajees Atelier is one of the country’s most sought after design firms, with Sarah quickly running out of shelf space to display her awards. Since she founded Essajees Atelier, the firm has gone on to complete over 40 projects, including a growing list of residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Her innate design language is understated, elegant and timeless.  @sarahmsham is a an obsessive plant mom and a mother to her two pets Dali and Steffie! She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in the pandemic and has been working throughout her pregnancy and delivery.
