the Signal podcast episode 2

This episode introduces most of the concepts we will be working with in this podcast. First and as promised, we discuss what I call the "3 Ways of Persuasion," that is, how we get people to do what we want them to do. They are: Consent, Force, and Fraud. Consent is arguably preferable, and it is the basis of Contracts, but there's alot of force and fraud going on in this world too. Then we talk briefly about the legal theory of Contracts and how Fraud works in the formation of contracts (none of this is legal advice). For example, fraudulently induced contracts are void or voidable. Then we discuss what happens when a party does not perform their end of a contract. For example, in the legal theory of contracts, what would happen when a government materially breaches the social contract which is the basis for its authority? Does it have any legitimate authority after that? Or, does it rule purely by force and fraud? Then we talk about various forms of Theft, particularly the ones involving Fraud. Get in here and get some answers.

the Signal podcast - Intro Episode

Hello and welcome to the introductory episode of the Signal podcast. My name is David, and I will be you host. We're all busy people, so let's get right down to business. I'm sure the question on everyone's mind right now is, what is this Podcast all about? Well, I hope to present a fresh perspective on topics in the logic of legal and political philosophy. We will approach the topic of logic generally, and examine how to think clearly and honestly about things, equipping you with the tools of critical thinking that can save you from bering fooled by the piles and piles of nonsense out there. My goal here is to simplify things that often seem complex. And in fact, I aim to show how certain parties actually want to make these subjects appear more complicated than they actually are, so that the average person will give up on his or her quest for understanding, and simply defer to the powers that be. I'm not going to over-simplify the issues, but I will bring them with range of the understanding of the common person, who has not studied them in depth. When we're done here, my hope is that the listeners will feel that they are, in fact, educated sufficiently in these subjects to think for themselves. But we aren't just going to discuss these things on an abstract level. We will examine some current events and specific examples. The most commonly seen media seem to deal with policies at the national level, and everyone has an opinion on that. But I want to look at things at the street level, where the proverbial rubber hits the proverbial road. So we are going to take a close look at the criminal and family courts, at a local level, because this is where policy actually affects most people. We'll talk about the legal theory of contracts, which I propose, forms the basis of our ideas of right and wrong, which are in turn, the basis for our laws and governments. We'll get into the theories of “social contracts,” and the idea that our governments are based on social contracts. Unfortunately, most of those contracts have been induced by fraud and/or breached. Again, your government is probably a fraudulently induced contract, and even if it were a valid contract, it has been repeatedly breached. So we will look at what happens when a contract has been induced by fraud or when a contract is breached. What options do we have? I think alot of people already realize that this is the situation we have here in America, and all over the world. The governments are not legitimate, if they ever were. But so many people seem to have accepted this. They say, what can we do about it? Well, I am going to make some suggestions. And I am going to make some attempts. And you can watch and listen as I go through the processes. For example, I am going to make some challenges to various local government officials and see what may or may not be effective. I'll be making official complaints to the CA CJP about a few tyrant judges, making investigative reports on various local officials, doing some recall petitions, and generally exposing misconduct in my local government in any way I can. And in case you're wondering, I live in Monterey County, California. Now, I will make mistakes, and hopefully we can all learn from them. As a sometimes wise man once said, “I never lose. I win or I learn.” My life has been a long, rocky road. But I've learned a lot along the way, and one thing I have not learned, is helplessness. See I have faith, and I have hope, and I won't stop fighting until they lay me in my grave. So hello and welcome to the introductory episode of the Signal podcast. Remember folks, there's really nowhere to run, nowhere hide. And we all have an appointment with death. So let's fight the good fight and have fun doing it.
