VDC #252 Mike Dambra 3.0

Mike Dambra is one of my favourite people in comedy.  From the moment I met him he has always been there for me for anything I might need.  He has given me countless hours of advice, knowledge and guidance and has gone out of his way to help a young comic just trying to figure it out on his own when absolutely did not need to. As I got to know him more I realized that he has done this for an untold amount of comics in the past and so many comics owe a huge piece of their success to Mike's tutelage.  So I was a bit dismayed to watch my friend be hit with something you hope your friends will never experience.  Mike is an extremely proud man who would never ask for help but during the podcast I could hear in his voice that he was getting overwhelmed with all that life was throwing at him.  Mike has always done so much for comics and it is time to give back.  So we decided to do a fundraiser show May 10th at 7pm and the support we have already received is staggering. I always knew there was an army of people who love mike but to see it out in force has been touching to say the least. Oilers Uncensored #48 Quick Game 1 Recap!

The rest of the boys were busy so I decided to sit down solo and breakdown the magic that was game 1. I was live in the building and seeing the boys fly around in that first period made me feel things I can't even put to words.  But here's to trying! The Oilers are the greatest team to ever exist. When we built the new podcast studio at The Moon I knew I wanted someone special to be the first guest to kick things off right. VDC #250 Ingo von Wackerbarth

The big dog is back for episode 250! Only took us three tries to get this podcats recorded but we finally made it! Huge life changes to come. New podcast studio, new Moon and a shit ton of work to do.  All the work we have put in through the years is going to culminate in the hottest new venue the city has seen! Having said that if anyone wants to help to make the new Moon as special as the last one we would love some more hands. Today we have the lovely and talented Leif Olsen-Cormack on the podcast.  I knew going into the podcast that Leif had done many amazing things in the world of comedy and the arts but I definitely was unaware of how varied and impressive his story is.  This podcast covers the entire journey that brought him to the stage, the struggles he had to overcome, his education both on and off stage, the sucess of his fringe shows and so much more.  I was so excited for Leif to come on the podcast but it was even better than I hoped and I can't wait to have him on again soon.
