God The Father (Part 2)/Pastor Colins Nwosu/Festival of Songs unto God

Pastor Colins Nwosu continued our teaching series The Trinity of the Godhead, diving into God The Father Part 2 to reveal the intimacy and accessibility of our Heavenly Father. Anchored in 1 Corinthians 8:6 (AMPC) and 1 John 5:7, we were reminded that through Christ, believers now have confident access to the Father. The teaching explored the heart of God as a loving Father who desires relationship, closeness, and fellowship with His children. Through the finished work of Jesus on the cross in Matthew 27:50–53, we saw that humanity’s separation from God was broken, granting us direct access into His presence. The message emphasised that our relationship with God is no longer built on fear or distance, but on grace, mercy, and sonship. Drawing from Hebrews 4:14–16 and Romans 8:15, we learned that we no longer approach God with trembling, slave like fear. We see that the Holy Spirit has adopted us into God’s family, empowering us to cry out, “Abba, Father,” an intimate and tender expression of a loving Dad. Through the beautiful illustration of the prodigal son in Luke 15:17–24, Pastor Colins highlighted the Fatherhood of God as compassionate, welcoming, and restorative. The sermon concluded by showcasing the heart of the Father: a God who does not wait for us to perform, but runs to embrace, kiss, and restore us the moment we turn back to Him. Confession: Lord, I thank You that the veil has been torn and I have direct access to Your throne of grace. I cast away all slave like fear and fully embrace my identity as Your child. I cry “Abba, Father” today, knowing that You run to meet me in my weakness, cover me with Your mercy, and celebrate my restoration. Amen!

God The Father/Pastor Colins Nwosu/Interactive MidWeek Service

Pastor Colins Nwosu continued our teaching series The Trinity of the Godhead, with today’s focus centred on God The Father. Reading from 1 Corinthians 8:6 (AMPC) and Genesis 1:1, we established that all things originate from God and exist through His sovereign power and purpose. The teaching explored the nature and character of God the Father as Creator, Sustainer, and eternal ruler over all creation. From the very beginning in Genesis 1:1, we see God as the source of life, order, and existence, while Genesis 1:26 further revealed the divine counsel and unity within the Godhead during creation. Drawing from Exodus 3:14 and Exodus 20:5, we reflected on His self existent name, “I AM WHO I AM,” revealing a Father who is entirely self sufficient, yet deeply personal and protective of His relationship with us. Through Psalm 139:7–12, we marvelled at His omnipresence, realising that there is nowhere we can flee from His Spirit, as His dark nights shine as bright as the day to Him. The message concluded with a beautiful meditation on Exodus 34:6–7, reminding us that while He is a just Judge, our Father is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love. Pastor Colins encouraged us to deepen our reverence for God the Father, trust His nature completely, and grow in our understanding of His love, authority, and faithfulness. Confession: Lord, thank You for being my Father, Creator, and Sustainer. Help me to know You more deeply, trust You more completely, and walk daily in the confidence of Your love, mercy, and unfailing presence.

The Trinity of the Godhead/Pastor Colins Nwosu/Hymnal & Pure Worship Service

Pastor Colins Nwosu began a new teaching series titled The Trinity of the Godhead, leading the church into a deeper and more enriching understanding of our relationship with the Triune God. Drawing from several scriptures, we explored the biblical foundation of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit existing distinctly yet perfectly united as One God. From the baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3, we saw all three persons of the Godhead revealed together: the Father speaking from heaven, the Son being baptised, and the Spirit descending like a dove. This teaching emphasised that the Trinity is not merely a theological concept, but a revelation of God’s nature and His desire for relationship with humanity. From the absolute unity of creation in Genesis 1:1–3 and John 1:1–5, to the ongoing ministry of the Comforter in John 14:26 and John 16:5–11, we see the perfect harmony and cooperation of the Godhead at work. Pastor Colins explained that understanding the Trinity strengthens our faith, deepens our worship, and enriches our walk with God because we are invited into fellowship with the fullness of who He is. The message also pointed us toward unity, reminding us from John 17:21 that just as the Godhead exists in perfect oneness, believers are also called into unity and communion with God and with one another. Confession: Lord, thank You for revealing Yourself to me as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Deepen my understanding of who You are, strengthen my walk with You, and help me live daily in fellowship with the fullness of Your presence and love.

The Woman’s Desire & The Man’s Rule/Pastor Colins Nwosu/Interactive MidWeek Service

Pastor Colins Nwosu led the church in a deeply interactive session titled The Woman’s Desire & The Man’s Rule. The teaching and contributions explored God’s original design for relationships, marriage, companionship, and responsibility before and after the fall of man. From Genesis 2:18, we were reminded that God created woman as a suitable helper and companion, establishing partnership and mutual purpose from the beginning. However, Genesis 3 revealed how sin distorted harmony, introducing struggle, tension, and conflict into relationships that were originally designed to reflect unity and order. The message also brought balance through Ephesians 5, emphasising that biblical leadership is not domination but sacrificial love, responsibility, and care. While wives are called to honour and respect their husbands, husbands are equally commanded to love, protect, nourish, and cherish their wives as Christ loves the Church. The session encouraged both men and women to understand God’s design beyond culture, pride, or personal bias, and to build relationships rooted in love, honour, wisdom, and mutual submission to God’s principles. Confession: Lord, help me to reflect Your wisdom, love, and purpose in every relationship. Teach me to walk in humility, honour, responsibility, and genuine care for others according to Your design
