A 19-year-old synthetic human named "B7" is the latest model of the Genome Series created by scientific virtuoso Dr. Talbeaux. Talbeaux seeks to create a new lineage of the human race by altering the genetic composition of the organic human genome. B7, being Talbeaux’s favorite model, lives in his private manor on a remote island. It’s here B7 has lived all his life with the company of his A.I. counterpart, S.A.M. Despite being made up of the same biological composition as a human, B7 lacks the range emotional/empathetic qualities that make up the human experience.
