Don't Be a Statistic - Top Motorcycle Crash Causes

Motorcycle crashes can be very serious. A simple fender bender in a car is much more to a motorcyclist. In this episode I discuss the top 10 (plus one more) causes for motorcycle crashes in the U.S. Are you a statistic? Have you been in one of these crashes before? How could you have prevented it from happening? Motorcycling requires proficiency, control, responsibility and accountability. No other road user is responsible for your actions. If you can get that through your head and also understand that motorcycles are basically invisible on the roadways, you'll start riding differently, and for the better.

MSF and Your Motorcycle Endorsement

The first real step to becoming a motorcyclist is by obtaining your motorcycle endorsement. The MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) is the most common way for a person to take that first step. The MSF is nationally recognized and used in nearly all fifty states. Some states have their own program for residence to become endorsed. Your motorcycle endorsement allows you to ride legally on U.S. roadways. In this podcast, I discuss the steps you'll need to take and the process of teaching the MSF will take you through. Women Ride ADV Differently

That doesn't mean women can't ride or shouldn't ride adventure motorcycles, it just has to be different. And different isn't always a bad thing.
