All Girls Christian Boarding School Pt. 2

In this episode of Wavepool Baptism, I read you some of my journal entries from my time in the facility. I talk about the beginning process of being there- and how shocking it was to me. There was a time at my 6 month point, where I was about to go home because my parents could no longer afford to have me there- and how something unpredictable happened the night before I was supposed to leave.  I apologize for any weird sections of this audio, as I'm still getting used to editing and I haven't quite figured it out yet. Thank goodness for good mic quality at least lol

All Girls Christian Boarding School Pt.1

In this episode of Wavepool Baptism, I start out with a bit of background about my childhood and what led me into lifestyles as a runaway psychonaut. I did many ridiculous things to worry my parents, to the point of them not knowing if I would live through it if I didn't get help. Unfortunately, the "help" I received caused more trauma than what I walked in with. I'll be rambling about my teenage years after growing up homeschooled until 7th grade, and the journey into the public school system. My names Hannah and I'm 25 years old! I decided to start this podcast as a surviver of religious trauma, using humor to discuss that and other parts of my life. I'm an advocate/activist for mental health, the LGBTQ+ community, racial justice/BLM, and survivors of religious facilities. Thanks!
