If you play golf, does not matter if you are a beginner or been playing for decades, all of us have heard distance is KING. Club manufactures are chasing it, greater MOI, less spin, stronger lofts, all in an effort to deliver more. And, put two or more golfers together, and in a very short period of time, the conversation will move to “smash factor, launch angle, club head speed, ball speed” and who knows from there. However, except for the highly skill, how many of us know our swing well enough to convert all of the data points available into extra distance?Therefore, for us mere golf mortals, perhaps our focus should be on enjoying the moment when the ball takes flight and deep in our soul we know that's the best we can do. We have all experience it, and if we are lucky maybe more than once or twice in a round. In our mind's eye a thing of beauty and at that split second we know we've “hit it pretty”. However, Hit'em Pretty episodes will cover the trials, tribulations, and triumphs in the pursued to beat “Old Man Par” and the courses, places and people encountered along the way while playing this “grand ole game”.
