Timely and evergreen messages of correction, encouragement, life and love from the Scriptures, specifically focusing on those Scriptures which print the words of Jesus in red ink. Logic and intellectual honesty are not ignored; rather, these characteristics are encouraged in these theological discussions with Don Harris. You’ll be constantly challenged to verify your beliefs in a way that conforms to the Scriptures; and which will ultimately result in a living and lasting relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. “You’ve never heard anything like this before!” http://www.ThinkRedInkMinistries.com http://www.DonCHarris.com http://www.IamReadyToKnow.com

Passover, Tradition, Leaven and Changes

Worship in Spirit and Truth Are you wondering just what the Biblical Christian’s duty is toward this holy day that approaches? Read on! Opinions, it seems, are as plenteous as individual beliefs. It seems every denomination holds to one of two main concepts of Passover. 1) The Jewish frame of reference, i.e., shank bones, bitter herbs, an egg and a prayer (no disrespect intended); and 2) The Christian observation, namely, "The Lord’s Supper". Within these two opposites are many variations and even some who straddle the middle ground attempting to capture and include facets and aspects of each. Although honorable in their own ways, both have little to do with the Scriptural truth of Passover. Are the people of Jehovah to keep Passover? Are we to keep a “Lord’s Supper”? What about an amalgamation of both? Let’s see what the traditions are and how they compare to what the Scriptures say. Many hold to the traditional understandings of “The Lord's Supper” and believe it to be a replacement for Passover. This rite, along with Baptism, is considered to be (what the Catholic Church calls) “sacraments.” They, (the Catholics and her Protestant daughter denominations) teach that these things are essential for salvation (thus the term, “sacraments.”) I certainly wouldn't say they are essential – not without being unfaithful to the clear doctrines of atonement for sin accorded by the blood of Joshua (Jesus) alone. Other denominations, while NOT requiring Eucharist (Lord’s Supper) for salvation, DO require membership in their sects to participate in these rituals. True communion is a deep and broad subject that I will leave to another forum (See question # 120 from my book, The Questions of Jesus, “Where is the Guest Chamber?”). ... No longer are we to participate in empty rituals of cups and broken bread, but rather a solemn night of remembrance and worship. No symbols to clutter our thinking and split our congregations, no Jewish fables and traditions to divert us from the truth, the night of His passion has become “the night to be much OBSERVED” "It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations." Exodus 12:42. Soon, we will gather at our dinner tables just as we do every night, but on Passover evening it will be different only in this respect, when we lift our cup (“. . . as oft as ye do this”) we will remember His blood. As we eat our bread, we will recall the Bread of Life that was broken on this very night long ago. Not 3500 years ago, but 2000 years ago. We do not remember a lamb, we remember THE LAMB. The Law has changed in many ways, and Passover is only one of these changes. Don’t be caught participating in Jewish fables. Don’t be intimidated by Protestant or Catholic threats of excommunication. Don’t have a merely symbolic relationship with your Father. Keep the memorial of Christ our Passover. Fare well. Friendly, Think Red Ink Ministries - Don C. episode The NAME OF GOD - A Timely Subject cover

The NAME OF GOD - A Timely Subject

Galatians 5:15 - “But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” Acts 3:6 - “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 19:13 - “Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.”  14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. PRAY in JESUS ... how? Matthew 18:20 - “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Acts 3:2 - “And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;” 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Acts 3:6 - “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: Acts 3:10 - “And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.” Acts 3:11 - “And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.” Luke 17:6 - “And the Lord said, IF ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.” Hearing the voice of YHVH . . . Acts 3:16 - “And HIS NAME through FAITH  in HIS NAME hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Mark 7:25 - For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. 30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed. John 5:19-20 - answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. Acts 3:11 - “And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.” Acts 3:12 - “And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?” John 9: 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. .2 Corinthians 12:7 - “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” Obedience to the word (voice of) God equals action in the name and nature of Jesus. Amos 8: 11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Take Heed HOW you hear... WHAT you hear... Mark 4:23-24 -  If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. Luk 8:18  - Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. Faith cometh by Hearing... Hearing by the Word of God (Jesus speaking, Spirit Speaking) Hebrews 4: 13 - Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. 1 Chronicles 13:12 - “And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?” 1 Chronicles 13: 9-10 - And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. episode A Time For Thanks - Pentecost 05-24-26 cover

A Time For Thanks - Pentecost 05-24-26

. . . The count to Pentecost began to tick and the 50th day approached, > “… when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting." Acts 2:1-3 > Here is the fulfillment of the Feast of Weeks from thousands of years before! The idea that was conceived in the mind of the Father in order to fulfill our redemption by placing the Holy Spirit in each of us as Guide and Comforter, Emmanuel – YHVH in us! What should we anticipate as we count down to Pentecost? Do we only look back to the Law given to the people at Sinai that culminated in the death of 3000 rebels, or shall we look back to the day that 3000 were made alive at the upper room at the famous divine visitation that changed the world? No! I do not believe that we are to look back at all! We, upon whom the ends of the world are come, have a rich history – but, our future will surpass all that has come before us! The second exodus which we anticipate is going to be far greater than the one our forebears experienced! Listen as Jeremiah prophesies about you and me and the days in which we now live: > "Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.” Jeremiah 23:7-8 * * * Mentioned in this episode: TRI Radio App

episode The Rapture A Critical Study cover

The Rapture A Critical Study

"Even In The Latter Days" The Scriptures contain clues which reveal the inconsistencies or fallacies of church doctrines; many of which are relatively recent ideas which have been promoted for the purpose of "making proselytes". Jesus warns against these messengers [scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites, preachers]. > “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.” Matthew 23:15 Jesus instructed those who came to him seeking Eternal Life and salvation to "Keep my commandments." [The Big Ten] "When you do that my Father and I will move into you and lead and guide you into all truth." > "A certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, "Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said unto him, "What is written in the law? how readest thou?" And he answering said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." And he said unto him, 'Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live." Luke 10:25-28 > “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
