episode Dr. Fashionista | Maia Hirsch cover

Dr. Fashionista | Maia Hirsch

Maia Hirsch is a Technion-trained mechanical engineer, and first year robotics PhD candidate at Cornell University, where she researches wearable haptics; while also - creating robotic fashion pieces that have been showcased at New York Fashion Week. At only 24 years of age, she is already impressing many, both in tech and in fashion, with her creations that have gone viral on social media; and in this episode we hear from her about such varied topics as: living in four different countries, not always by choice; what will astronauts on mars, or users in the metaverse, actually feel on their skin? How covid, the war in Israel, and the situation in Venezuela completely upended her life – but also somehow gave her some great opportunities; and how tech can help us receive a hug from a loved one, on the other side of the world. She is a member of the Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis in London, and a co-editor of Sitegeist - A journal of Psychoanalysis and Philosophy. In this conversation, we cover such far-ranging topics as: circumcision, menopause, and living abroad with Hebrew speaking kids. From CEO to Restaurant Cook... and Back | Assaf Glazer

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
