Hundreds of high school and college students, as well as local community members, attended.  PART 2 features the following industry experts:  Theresa Shellcroft 🎨🌟 This woman is a pillar of arts education 🏛️, community engagement 🤝, and creative legacy ✨—and her impact spans generations. Theresa has helped shape generations of students while playing a role in defining arts education across California 🌟 Clay Lacey 🔥🎬 On social media, Clay has amassed 90+ MILLION views, bringing his brand of filmmaking to a massive global audience and proving that storytelling thrives wherever creativity meets opportunity 🌍🔥. (Granite Hills High School alum) Known for writing ✍️, directing 🎬, shooting 📷, and editing 🎞️ his own work, he embodies the true DIY spirit of modern filmmaking. Sam Prince 🎬🎮 Apple Valley High School alum 🎓 and a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.  He currently serves as Lead Editor at Naughty Dog 🐶, one of the most respected studios in the world. There, Sam has played a key role in shaping the cinematic experience of some of the most celebrated narrative‑driven games ever made, including The Last of Us Part I & II 🎮🔥. Thomas Surprenant✨🎬 An Emmy Award–winning makeup artist 🏆 whose work has helped define some of the most iconic worlds in science fiction, fantasy, and film 🚀🧙‍♂️🎥. Hosted by VVC’s School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, the festival brings together internationally recognized professionals from across the creative industries for panels, workshops, live performances, and hands-on experiences designed to showcase real-world career pathways in the arts. ASB Fine Arts Senator Harmony Thompson, the student coordinator for the festival, shares why this event is a game-changer for students with a passion for creative expression. The lineup also features Grammy-winning, multi‑platinum producer Damon Sharpe, along with Euro Zambrano—drummer for legends Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan. Plus, we’re also previewing another major campus event: the High Desert Job Fair, taking place May 13 at VVC, featuring nearly 100 employers and special guest 99.1 KGGI’s Evelyn Erives.
