Angel Daddies

In this episode we have Angel Daddy Jordan M. Jordan and I have known each other since 2001 where we met freshman year in high school. Jordan and his family lost their son only after a couple of months due to heart failure. Jordan speaks about how he and his family attended therapy, received love and support from his church congregation and his community while grieving. Jordan offers his experience to anyone that is in need, whether it is only for the Angel Daddy or Angel Daddy and partner. In this episode we have Angel Daddy Jeff T. There was a time when Jeff and I used to work together. Until he reached out to me after hearing the podcast, I was not aware that he too is an Angel Daddy. Jeff tells us about his daughter ( his guardian angel), her five day fight with Hydrocephalus and the magical bond they formed. In the episode we learn about what Hydrocephalus is and that it can be hereditary. Jeff tells us how he was able to process with the grief of his daughter’s passing from beginning to now as time has gone on with the help of his faith. He makes an important point, that as time goes on the hurt never goes away but choosing to focus on the good memories is what helps. Now not everyone has the same beliefs or views but during our episode Jeff and I talk about signs/ little reminders that even though not physically with us, are never gone and forever in our hearts. In this episode we have Angel Daddy Marcus. Marcus tells us about the loss of his angel daughter, the beautiful meaning of her name, the amazing acts of kindness he does in her memory, and his amazing support system he has to continue his everyday life. We also learn about bicorneal uterus and it’s complications as well as complications that at just 30 weeks his premature daughter encountered complications post delivery called fetal bradycardia. Although heaven gave Marcus 8 hours with his daughter before giving her angel wings, she left a great life changing impression. During the episode we talk about the percentages of partners that split up after having lost a child. Dads of all loss are wanted to come on, share the DAD’s said from beginning, to the loss, after  loss and their now day to day living.
