Carly Gregg is the first teen we have seen brutally murder her mother Ashley since the release of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. At the beginning of the year we cautioned the extreme danger there was in allowing a murderer like Gypsy to have a social media platform. And we believe this is just the beginning of the fallout.
Carly Gregg was 14 years old when she walked into her bedroom, found her mother going through her things and shot her three times, leaving her mother dead on the floor. Carly then texted her stepfather Heath from her mother's phone pretending to be Ashley asking when he would be home. Carly lay in wait. When Heath arrived she popped off three more shots and fled the scene.
Carly texted five friends that day after she shot her mother and when one arrived she showed them what she had done. Carly now has been sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole and ten years fro tampering with evidence.
